TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return) and colony management are so important. TNR stops the cycle of endless litters, keeps cats healthier, and allows them to live safely in the only home they’ve ever known.

A great example is our Walmart colony. Over the past year, volunteers have trapped around 75 cats, with 50 of them finding wonderful barn homes where they’re safe, fed, and appreciated.

But just when we think the work is done
 new kittens pop up. And so we keep going. Every trap, every spay/neuter surgery, every bowl of food in the freezing cold—it all matters.

Tomorrow is Giving Tuesday!, now is the perfect time to support this life-saving work. Your donations allow us to continue feeding these colonies, providing winter shelters, and trapping the newcomers so no more kittens are born outside.

This Giving Tuesday, we’re celebrating one of our favorite success stories — Lyra, a beautiful grey mama who came into our foster program with her five tiny babies.

From the moment she arrived, Lyra was the most devoted mom. We kept her little family together so she could raise them in a safe, loving space
 and she did an amazing job. One by one, her kittens found their perfect homes — and Lyra did too. 💛

Stories like Lyra’s are only possible because of the compassion and generosity of our community. Your donations help us say “yes” to mamas in need, orphaned kittens, and vulnerable cats who deserve safety, love, and a chance at a beautiful life.

We are also a no-kill organization, which means animals are never euthanized simply because they are homeless or have behavioral problems. We euthanize only if there are serious health issues that are not treatable and the animal is suffering. We do not euthanize for Felv or FIV.
