Looking for a fun trick that’s both adorable and beneficial for your dog? 🎉 Teaching your pup to *sit pretty* not only impresses your friends, but it also helps strengthen their core muscles and improve balance! 💪
Start with these simple steps:
1. Have your dog sit.
2. Hold a treat above their nose, encouraging them to lift their front paws while keeping their bottom grounded.
3. Start by rewarding when they follow the treat with their nose. Work your way up to your pup lifting up their front paws.
4. Once they are following the food lure, switch to a hand signal.
5. When they are reliably following your hand signal, add the verbal cue “sit pretty"!
