❄️Mia A046957❄️

Mia is an 11 year old kitty currently spending her days in a short term foster home.

This older gal is the perfect companion for anyone looking for a super calm snuggle buddy. She's a easy going girl who's happy to find a nice warm next to the window to people watch. But her absolute favorite activity in the world is napping! Mia loves a good nap time buddy, whether its her foster humans or her foster dog brothers, she is sure to find someone to cuddle up with.

Sweet senior girl Mia is having a wonderful time in her short term foster home, but she is still looking for a place to call her own. If you are interested in bringing home your new best friend, give us a call at 281-342-1512.

🎁The presence of a dog is the greatest present ever! Both for you and for them!

Help a shelter dog have the happiest holidays ever by inviting them into your home temporarily. Fostering gives them a much needed break from the stressful shelter environment while also giving them a taste of the love and comfort of a home they so crave. It gives the shelter all kinds of cute pictures of the pet looking happy and cozy, and it helps us learn a lot more about them to better help them find a home to call their own. 💕🐶💕

Fostering is the best gift you could give a dog, but it's a real treat for you too! It's incredibly rewarding - we promise. Come and see for yourself! 💝

🍂 Autumn - A048101 🍂

Autumn is all about running and playing. This girl has a need for speed! She loves nothing more than zooming around off leash in one of our play yards. She’s even happier if she has toys to play with! She’ll toss them around and keep herself entertained for quite sometime. She’s been known to run so fast after a toy that she fishtails. It’s quite the show!

We’re extra happy to see Autumn in play mode since she came to us in rough condition. She was found seriously injured. Both of her back legs hurt and she was limping on them. She also had puncture wounds around her head, ears, neck, and shoulder. She’s since healed up nicely, and you’d never know she was so injured when you see her happy and playing!

Autumn is a 2YO Husky who came of us on 11/6/24. Like most of her breed she has a high energy level and loves to keep active. She’s also very sweet and eager to get a treat from you. She hasn’t mastered any tricks yet, but she does seem to have had some potty training.

Congratulations to our girl Rosie on getting adopted today!

‼️BOTTLE FEEDER NEEDED‼️

This cute little snuggly pile is made up of seven 3 day old kittens. Their mama cat is having to have emergence surgery this week and can no longer care for them.

Thankfully the nice people that found them have stepped in to help them! They’ve begun fostering the kittens, but this is their first time bottle feeding. They’re just helping them out until a new bottle feeding foster or a rescue can be found.

Please let us know if you can help this sweet family of kittens! Give us a call at (281) 342-1512 or email at [email protected] if you can help!

🫧 Jaeger - A047980 🫧

Jaeger is such a good boy, and a good time! His bubbly personality is always great to hang out with, and he’s always ready for fun!

He loves people and attention, but he’s not needy! He’s perfectly happy to play all by himself. He enjoys just trotting around loose in our play yards - he really loves the freedom!

Treats are his favorite things ever. He’ll eat them all if you’ll let him! He hasn’t mastered any tricks yet, but he’s highly motivated to learn to earn more snacks.

Jaeger has a medium to high energy level. He can be quite bouncy when excited, but he also has a more relaxed side. He’s a good leash walker, and will make some lucky soul a perfect best friend!

Jaeger is a 3YO Lab mix who has been in shelter since 10/29/24.

🌲Mr. Big Baby🌲

Mr. Big Baby is a 1 year old Rhodesian Ridgeback mix currently spending his days in a short term foster home. I think you’ll find he’s pretty appropriately named, he’s just a big sweet baby! Not not only is he a cutie with lots of love to give, but he also gets along well with the other dogs in his foster home.

If you would like to give this big baby a furever home, give us a call at 281-378-1512

This young Prince has a lot left to learn.

He’s always very excited when people come up to his kennel. He’s grown very comfortable in his kennel…but when you take him out of it he gets nervous and doesn’t quite know what to do with himself. It’s just puppy nerves! He’s still quite young and trying to figure everything out. It’s a big, scary world as far as he’s concerned. With practice and patience we’re sure he’ll grow leaps and bounds with confidence. Loving on him really helps too!

Prince has a medium energy level. He’s working hard on learning leash skills, but he’s a bit of a blank slate at the moment.

Prince is a 5MO Lab mix who has been in shelter since 10/22/24. He’s hoping to find a home with lots of love and cuddles!

🐾It’s true – even the Grinch had a dog! 🐾

Find yourself a little lacking in that department this holiday season? Or have pets, but have room for more? WE NEED YOUR HELP!

We have so many amazing pet waiting (some not so patiently) for a home. Our shelter is over capacity with our dogs. That’s why we need fosters!

Fosters are everyday heros who welcome pets into their homes temporarily. It’s a win-win situation for everyone involved! Dogs get to relax and decompress, and see what it’s like to spend the holidays in a real home. It frees up desperately needed kennel space in our shelter, while also helping us learn more about the pet. For the person who fosters it’s incredibly rewarding, and the get to make a new furry friend without making a lifelong commitment to them. It also results in lots of cute pics which go a long way in helping these pets find homes.

Please consider welcoming one of our shelter dogs into your home as a holiday foster. Fostering is the best gift you could ever give this holiday season. It’s the kind of good deed that gets that feel good holiday spirit going, and it’s lifesaving impact for pets in our community is incredible. 🎅🎁

The holidays are a very family centric time - it's a time to leave your heart open and treat everyone like family! No one wants this more than our shelter pets - especially the ones that have been waiting for a family of their own for quite awhile now.

The shelter is a stressful for any dog - a home is always so much better and more comfortable! The gift all of our shelter dogs want the most won't fit under the tree or in a stocking - they all want homes of their own!

We know it's a big commitment to adopt another member into the family - but that's what fostering is for! It's welcoming a pet into your home for a little bit and giving them a break from the shelter. This will give them a taste of home, even before they find their real one!

Being home for the holidays is magical for everyone - but it's especially magical for a pet that has no home to call their own. Let them experience that greatness, even if it's only for a little while.

Look how well our boy Domino A038516 looks like he would fit in on a family Christmas card. Help him make that dream a reality!

Remember Dee Dee? The gorgeous girl who came in with an old head wound that caused her ears to be uneven? She was with us for about 6 months before she was adopted off one of our PUSH (Pets Urgently Seeking Homes) lists back in 2021. It’s clear she’s living her best life now!

Here’s what her family has to say about her:

“Pupdate! Dee Dee just celebrated her 3rd gotcha day with me.

Soon after losing my first Fort Bend Alum pup, I saw Dee Dee available on Fort Bend available dogs. She had been in shelter care for 6 months. I wasn't sure my heart was ready for a new pup so soon but I knew she was ready to get out of shelter. I just fell in love with her the second we met. She had been the light in my life ever since. My brave little HW survivor.

She loves meeting new people and playing with new puppy friends. I couldn't have asked for a more perfect match.

Happy 3 year Gotcha Day, Dee Dee.

Special thank you to the volunteers that helped connect us by sharing videos, pics and info about Dee Dee so I was able to virtually meet her before making the 3 hour trek to Houston. Love you all!!!””

Isn’t that the sweetest!? Happy Gotcha Day Dee Dee!

Anyone recognize this girl? As cute as she is she’s sure to be the Star of someone’s show!

She was found at the Florence and Eldridge roads crossing in Sugar Land. She’s very sweet and friendly! She has a purple collar on, so we know she has a home out there somewhere looking for her.

Please share so that her owner may be found. And give us a call at (281) 342-1512 if you know where she belongs!
