The Holistic Paw The holistic paw is a pet med spa, offering grooming services for dogs with skin sensitivity, anxiety and special needs.

Our groomers are kind, professional and use a holistic approach. Our low ratio and calm environment, helps pets enjoys their spa day. At De La Pet Salon we put your dogs comfortability and health first. We are different from other grooming shops because we do not have time limits or quotas to hit. Our groomers are trained to take their time with each dog. Your dog is given a space in our salon whe

n they arrive - to get used to the smells and sounds before we even get them in the bath. While being bathed, they get cleaned and a good massage with topical shampoos and conditioner to fit their skin and coat needs. We do not force any dog through the drying process; if they are weary of the dryer we will allow them to rest in front of gentle fans to continue the drying process. This may take extra time but we believe in Humanity before Vanity. While dematting in inevitable with some dogs, we will take our time to give them a conditioning treatment and assess if they can be comfortably brushed out, if not, we highly recommend taking the coat shorter. We want clients to become like family, the best thing for your dog is to get on a good grooming schedule so they don't come in with matting, compacted coats or fearful of the grooming shop. We want to make it a place of comfort and for them to feel amazing after their appointment. Grooming also starts at home, brushing and combing regularly at home helps them to have a better experience in our salon. Booking an appointment with us is like getting your dog in for a spa day. Please do not expect a rushed or "zoom groom". Their appointment is their day to get cleaned up, feeling good and leaving happy.
