….And here we are for the last sad news post.
Unfortunately this has to do with not the dogs but the owner and their family.
My client, “forced upon family” as Vicki would call her self, has recently passed away. That woman, she was the s***kiest and sassiest lady you could meet! (Sassier than me😂)
She was so independent and such a strong and inspirational woman.
Unfortunately she recently passed away leaving her sweet boys, Buddy and Lucky, behind.
Buddy and Lucky are looking for a new home together. They are both senior dogs and absolute gems.
I will post what the family has to say and what I have to say. Please share and share until we find these sweet babes their new home.

From me:
I would say the ideal home is someone who will understand that it will take some time to adjust, their whole life turned upside down losing the sweetest mom. Bud (13year old) may take a little longer but will, and Lucky, that boy, he’ll adjust a little quicker but will need some time. I’m sure they would love a home where they have someone home more than not, but if that’s not the case, that’s why they should go together. The LOVE snuggling on the couch, blankets are a plus! Lucky loves his toys and bud loves his bones. I think to keep them going, shorter walks once a fay (or more) would be good for them. Buddy does have some arthritis, and lumps and bumps (as most senior dogs do, I have 2 seniors of my own and just lost one of my old men) with the proper guidance from the vet, and supplements and possible pain management, I don’t think that will be a problem. They really just need a place to feel safe, and loved together, and a nice soft bed or blankets to sleep 🩵🩵
Then from a grooming standpoint, in the winter they get groomed every 10 weeks, in the summer they do every 6 weeks. In the winter they go a little longer, but in the summer time, they do go short because they still like to party in the backyard, and it was easier on their mom to keep it short!
From the family.
🚨🆘Urgent rehome needed! 🚨🆘
Their mom just passed away and family cannot take them ☹️ We are trying to keep them out of the shelter!
Two large male senior (Lucky is 12 and Buddy is 13)Aussie doodles in urgent need of rehoming. Up-to-date on vaccines. neutered. Vet records are all at Parkview animal Hospital in Madison Heights Michigan. House trained. fence required and they need to stay together. They would need to be leash trained or just have a yard to play. They have lived with a single senior woman their whole lives but would probably do well in a family setting. Exposure to children yes but probably older kids. Cats unknown. They are incredibly friendly well behaved boys. Buddy does have arthritis and some anxiety. I know this makes him a tough sell. Lucky has no concerns that we are aware of.
If you have any questions, please reach out, I wil pass the info along to the family. Share with anyone you can. Get these boys a new home to live out their days. 💔🩵
I could post so many more grooming pics and will send some if needed.
