Welcome to Lonesome Willow Gundog Club. We are a group of people trying to make better gun dogs with live bird training. To make friends that are willing to help out and share advice with. Our goal is to create a safe friendly club that you and your dog will enjoy. We have quail and chukars for the dogs to work with. We have them all year round since bird exposure is hard to get during the spring and summer. Everything that will be done is for the birds and dogs. We will also have a clay pigeon launcher for shooting practice. Just bring a case of clay pigeons and shells. We also have some training equipment anyone can use as long as it is put back when you are done with it. There will be some work days a couple times a year. There will also be membership meetings to keep everyone up to date on everything. Yearly dues are $100.00 and are due by April 30th each year and that is when training days begin. There will be a one time buy in fee when you first become a member. The buy in fee is $100.00. We will have a couple fundraisers this year for the club. There will be 2 johnny houses, 2 regular pens, and a flight pen for the birds. We have a test covey of quail this year that have been out of the pen since June 2019. We are planting cover and food plots for the birds to help hold them. During the year we will have a couple of picnics for everyone to come to and get to know one another. Members can come every Saturday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm and Sunday from 08:00 am to 3:00 pm. This is for people that want to come over to put birds out for their dogs and use the training equipment. If quail are set out there will be no shooting them until they are in season. The board members for the 2020 year are as follows. President is Justin Spencer, Vice President is Shane Meenan, the first Treasurer and Secretary is Nicole Spencer, and second Treasurer is Ashley Lydic. Each year we will have a club vote on the board members. Immediate family members of the main gundog member are included to be a part of the club. If you would like to bring anyone else with you for a day there will be a day pass available for purchase. A liability waiver must be signed before being allowed on the property. If there are any issues brought up the board will have a vote on it. If there is a tie then the President will have the final decision. When a new member joins a packet of all our information and forms will be given. Thank you from everyone at the Lonesome Willow Gundogs for taking the time to consider joining our newly growing club. If there are any questions please contact us.
