It's truly the little things that get us through. A dog that previously wouldn't come near us running to meet us at the door. A dog gaining the confidence and learning to play with a toy for the first time after a YEAR. A cat who was terrified of other animals, making their first non-human friend. Watching their physical and emotional healing process day by day-THAT is what makes it all worth it. Their happiness and well-being is all we want for the holidays, whether that be with us, a new foster, or their furever family! I’m good with chickens and ducks, I’m cool with cats, and I even get along with some of my fellow pups here.
