We have a PUPDATE on our FCAR alumni dog, Joby!

Joby came to us as a little puppy that was hit by a car with her mother. She survived and made her way to our rescue. We nursed her back to health, fostered her for a bit... until she met her forever home!

This is how it is going... ❤

We are so excited to announce our fundraiser with Jennifer Schultz and Scentsy!

Jennifer had this to say about her fundraiser collab with us!

"I first learned about FCAR at a vendor show in Oakland, TN, and was instantly inspired by their mission. Although we’ve since moved and I can't volunteer in person, I'm excited to support their efforts by raising funds.

Starting today, all proceeds from orders placed through the Fayette County Animal Rescue link will be donated to this incredible organization. FCAR is a no-kill, nonprofit rescue dedicated to caring for sick, injured, abused, and neglected animals. They do amazing work and rely heavily on donations.

Happy from Bubble Guppie!

Bubble has been in a foster home since he left his board and train at and he is having such a good time!

If you remember, Bubble Guppie came to us with some major health issues regarding his front legs. Thanks to the hard work by staff and his medical team Somerville Animal Hospital, he's thriving!

His foster mom says that Bubble is such a silly dog and that watching him enjoy life without any physical restrictions, is the best part of fostering him.

Taylor and Travis are the best kittens! They are definitely lap cats. Both have such fun and silly personalities they are showing more and more as they grow. These 2 will be available for local pre-adoption soon!

I came from a hoarding situation, where I was socialized with lots of other cats, but I only had one other human in my life, so I’m still a little shy around people. While my friends like to pile on top of each other to get your head and back rubs, I’d rather sit quietly and stare deep into your soul. This week's features are new resident, Merc! He came to our rescue a few weeks ago very matted and needing care. Our good friends at Somerville Animal Hospital treated him medically and resident groomer, Jennifer; gave him a nice haircut!

Unfortunately Merc is heartworm positive and will need to be treated before he can go to this forever home! He is 1 of 4 dogs at our rescue that are being treated for heartworm treatment!

Heartworm disease is 100% preventable! With yearly testing and being consistent with one of the multiple options for prevention, you can keep your pets safe!
