🐾 Monday Motivation from Your Furry Friend 🐾
✨ July 7th | 7/7 Energy ✨

Hey hooman, it’s me—your four-legged bestie—here to remind you of something important:

Happy Monday! Today isn’t just any ol’ start to the week... it’s 7/7, a special kind of day that’s all about alignment, intuition, and inner strength. Sounds kinda magical, right? 🐶🐱💫

You don’t need to have it all figured out. You don’t need a perfect plan.
You just need to take a breath… plant your feet (or paws) on the ground… and decide you’re going to show up—for yourself, for your dreams, and maybe for an extra treat or two. 😉

Let this Monday be your soft reset. Your chance to refocus, recharge, and realign.
I’m right here cheering you on (probably from the couch, but still 🐾). Let’s take this week one paw-sitive step at a time.

You’ve got this.
Love,
Your favorite furball 💛

🎆🐾 Wellness Wednesday: July 4th Pet Safety Tips 🐾🎆

Fireworks might be fun for us, but they can be terrifying for our furry friends. As we get closer to the 4th of July, let’s make sure your pet is safe, secure, and as stress-free as possible. 💙

Here are a few tips to help your pet stay calm and comfortable:

🔹 Create a safe space – Set up a quiet, cozy area with their favorite blanket or toy.
🔹 Turn on calming sounds – Background noise like the TV or soft music can help mask the booms.
🔹 Exercise earlier in the day – A tired pet is a calmer pet.
🔹 Avoid festive foods – Many holiday treats are toxic to pets (hello, chocolate and alcohol 🚫).

💊 Does your pet need anti-anxiety medication or a calming supplement?

🐾💛 Monday Motivation from Your Furry Best Friend 💛🐾
Hey hooman, it’s me—your four-legged cheerleader. 🐶🐱
As we step into a brand new week together, I just wanted to remind you of something important:

Your energy? It's powerful.
Your presence? It changes everything.

Each morning is a fresh sniff of possibility. Before you dive into your day, take a deep breath (I like to do mine near the treat jar 😄), and set your heart on what really matters. You deserve care too—so don’t forget to fill your cup before you fill everyone else's.

✨ Prioritize self-care
✨ Stay curious and open to new lessons (like I do with squirrels)
✨ Walk toward your purpose—one intentional paw-step at a time

You’ve got this. And I’ve got you. 💕

🐱🌞 Happy Caturday from Chattahoochee Animal Clinic! 🌞🐱
Hot temps are here, and while our feline friends may love sunbathing in a warm window, summer can bring real risks to their health. Here's how to keep your cool cat safe and comfortable all season long:

☀️ Hydration is a must!
Cats can be sneaky about drinking water—make sure they have access to multiple clean, fresh water sources (and consider a pet water fountain to encourage drinking).

🏠 Keep them indoors during peak heat.
Outdoor kitties are at higher risk for heatstroke, dehydration, and sunburn (yes—especially light-colored cats!). Try to limit outdoor time to early mornings or late evenings.

🌬️ Create cool zones.
Provide shaded nap spots, fans, or even a damp towel to lie on. A little effort goes a long way for your floof’s comfort!

🐾 Check for pests.
Fleas, ticks, and mosquitoes thrive in the summer—and cats are not immune! Ask us about prevention options like NexGard® COMBO for comprehensive protection.

Remember: cats may not show signs of heat distress until it’s serious. If your kitty is panting, lethargic, or acting off, call us right away!

TGIF everyone!! 😎
We all know what that means!
Let's introduce you to a gorgeous little long eared furry friend.
Meet Darla! She is a precious baby Bassett that came in for her 12 week puppy visit. Darla worked her adorable magic on all of us. 🐾✨
She had us all wrapped around her little toe beans. From her puppy breath to her snuggles we couldn't put her down. Just look at that face!
We are so excited and grateful to watch her grow up, and to be part of her wellness journey. 💕🐾✨
Thank you pet parents for entrusting us with your fur kid's care.

Our Story

Chattahoochee Animal Clinic is a small animal practice in Roswell Georgia that excels in client education and advanced veterinary care. Our veterinarians, Dr. Marcus Smith and Dr Dianne Dawkins, look forward to every interaction with pet parents, as an opportunity to educate them in various veterinary care topics. The CAC team's goal is to create the most educated pet parents in the North Fulton area, which will help promote long and cherished relationships with their pet companions. We provide customized preventative care based on your fur kid’s specific needs.

A big part of what we do is community outreach. We pride ourselves in giving back in any way we can. We visit several schools throughout the year to educate children about pet care and veterinary science. Our heart goes out to the less fortunate and we work closely with several rescue organizations, such as Angels Among Us Pet Rescue, showing support for local organizations like Shamrock’n For the Cure, CDA Toy Drive, working with our friends at Lucky’s Burgers and Brews, Downtown Pooch, just to name a few.

We offer a FREE first exam for anyone who would like to experience the CAC difference. So give us a call today! 770.993.6329
