🐾 Happy Caturday, Friends! 🐾
September is Leukemia & Lymphoma Awareness Month, and today we’re focusing on our beloved senior cats. 💙
As cats age, they’re more at risk for certain illnesses, including lymphoma, the most common type of cancer found in felines. While every cat is different, here are some signs pet parents should watch for:
🔹 Loss of appetite or unexplained weight loss
🔹 Lethargy or hiding more than usual
🔹 Vomiting or diarrhea
🔹 Increased thirst or changes in bathroom habits
🔹 Trouble breathing or persistent coughing
Because cats are experts at hiding illness, regular wellness visits and senior bloodwork are the best way to catch changes early. Early intervention allows our team to provide the best possible care and quality of life. 🩺✨
