Come along on Killian’s DDA to 🐶🎊

Killian - who is currently without a foster and in boarding - got a fun day out this weekend when one of our team took him for a fun day to The Works in Westside ATL!🏙

As you can see, Killian is a ham for the camera and loves to be the center of attention (look at that smile).😆

He met so many great people but still hasn’t found a foster or furever home.🏡🐾

Percy is safe but he still needs your help!🚨‼️

We have committed to pull Percy today and take him immediately to our vet partner for medical care and to determine the best treatment plan for him.

He was brought in to Fulton County as a stray, bleeding from his legs, body and face. His tongue is ripped open and bleeding profusely, and he is vomiting up bone fragments. He is also HW+ 💔

While we do not know the extent of his injuries, we do know that he will most likely need x-rays, bloodwork and surgery to repair his tongue to start with. He is also HW+ and will need to complete that treatment when appropriate.

It’s clear he’s been horribly abused. But even with the immense trauma he has been through, he is still sweet and friendly to everyone he encounters and seems to be dog friendly as well.🐶

Update - Percy is safe and receiving medical care! 💙

🚨‼️Pleas for Percy - bait dog needs immediate medical care and surgery🚨‼️

Percy is in an extremely dire situation and needs our help!

He was brought in to Fulton County today, as a stray, bleeding from his legs, body and face. His ears are docked. He was most likely used as a bait dog in an illegal dog fighting operation. 🤬

His tongue is ripped open and bleeding profusely, and he is vomiting up bone fragments. He is also HW+ 💔

It’s clear he’s been horribly abused. But even with the immense trauma he has been through, he is still sweet and friendly to everyone he encounters and seems to be dog friendly as well.🐶

He will most likely require surgery for his tongue, x-rays, bloodwork and possibly another surgery depending on the cause of his vomiting.

We will need to raise AT LEAST $5,000 to cover his medical expenses and any other care he may need.

We are incredibly grateful to be a recipient of the Dog and Cat Sterilization Award this year! Over 80% of the dogs we bring into rescue are not spayed or neutered.

Dog and cat overpopulation in Georgia remains a critical issue and these funds will help us provide necessary sterilization surgery and rescue even more dogs in need!🐶

The first one was when she was first rescued and we were working on just being able to make her feel comfortable and safe. The second one is her being the sweetest love bug and becoming a completely different dog!

Through her time with the rescue and her foster family, she has made leaps and bounds when it comes to being around other dogs and meeting new people!

URGENT: HADLEY NEEDS A HOME‼️‼️

Our poor Hadley baby has been in training these past few months to help try and overcome the horrors and trauma he experienced before he was rescued from the FOCO abuse case.

However his facility is closing and he needs to be out of there by AUGUST FIRST!!!!!

Hadley needs someone who is patient, willing to understand, and to help him heal from the pain and abuse he went through last year.

If you can be Hadley’s savior, even a foster hero, he would be furever grateful and you would be helping save a life.

🐶🚗Georgia is heading to her furever home!🐶🚗

Georgia has nearly recovered from her amputation surgery, and she’s headed off to meet her pawrents in Mississippi!🐾

We rescued Georgia (aka Faiza) from Dekalb County Animal services. This sweet girl was an owner surrender and had a leg deformity that made the shelter environment extremely traumatizing for her. We were asked to save her, and with the help of an amazing medical foster and YOUR SUPPORT we were able to give this sweet girl a second chance!🐶💙

Thank you to everyone who has followed Georgia’s story and supported her with a lifesaving gift. We will have another update on her once she’s settled into her furever home! 🏡

Our Merry has found her PAWFECT furever home!!!!

GIVE IT UP FOR MERRYS FEEL GOOD FRIDAY EVERYONE🥳👏

We are BEYOND proud of Merry and how hard she has worked to get to this day. She was rescued off the porch from one of our most horrific cases, the FOCO county abuse case.

The state she was found in versus the state she is in now with her AMAZING furever family is insance. Her growth and happiness with these people are some of the most heartwarming things we have ever seen.

Its stories like Merrys that truly make this worth it. She still has TWO brothers from this case up for adoption, Killian and Hadley and it would make life even sweeter for her if we can get the last two of the nine rescues adopted by the end of this month.

Thank you for supporting us along Merrys journey and allowing her to achieve this moment which was long overdue!!! We love you Merry ☺️💕

Ruby Pupdate!!

Our brave mama has started her HW treatment and has been doing amazing!

She’s been resting a ton and still building up her strength but so far so good.

However she will still need continued medical support for the foreseeable future and she needs your help to make her healing journey possible.

A Mara update on this 🎉🐶

Mara has been with her new foster family for almost 3 weeks now, and we’d say she is settling into life just wonderfully!

She loves to hang out on the porch with her foster sister, go for walks around the neighborhood, play tug of war, and of course, be a couch potato!

Mara’s story is one of resilience and perseverance - she is a dog that has overcome medical and behavioral issues, spent over a year in boarding, and was looked over time and time again. But thanks to some amazing people, Mara has known the love and care of a home for almost 7 months now!🙏🏼

Our Asra girl has been making so much progress in her foster home.💕

🇺🇸🚗Killian’s Freedom Ride🇺🇸🚗At the 11th hour, with a Hail Mary pass that made history, and because of YOU, we were able to save Killian. Killian’s fate was euthanasia. In just 24 hours, YOU, our exceptional Braveheart Heroes stepped in and stepped up. We went this morning to give Killian the good news, some treats, and some exercise before we saw him off on his Freedom Ride. He was the last dogs of the FORSYTH ABUSE CASE survivors to be rescued. And Killian knew - offering his paw as a thank you 🐾 We looked into Killian’s eyes and saw the first glimmer of hope, which has not been seen in weeks. He will now go through decompression and intensive rehabilitation training for the next 8 weeks. 🚨ABUSE CASE UPDATE - ALL DOGS ARE OUT OF QUARANTINE🚨 ⚠️Quarantine has ended for the dogs seized in the horrific abuse case that we’ve been sharing over the past month.🐶We went to visit the dogs, who are FINALLY able to go outside of their kennels for the first time in weeks. They were all very excited, naturally, and many were happy to play outside, take treats, and just have some form of contact.With more of their personality on display, we determined that while some of the dogs will be fine going straight into foster homes (and we NEED FOSTERS!) several of the dogs will need continued decompression, training and rehabilitation.💔🙏🏼We have committed to placing these dogs into board and train programs with our partners, but we CANNOT DO THIS WITHOUT YOUR HELP. These programs are effective, but expensive, and we do not have the funds to cover this for the 4 dogs that desperately need it.Please help these dogs, who have been failed by humans over and over again. Boi’s foster family also is also in love ❤️ with him, but sadly they can no longer keep fostering him. 💔Boi is really not getting along with the cats- he is chasing them. 🚫🐱 He is also finding himself overwhelmed with all of their dogs and kids! 🐶Boi made fast friends with one of their dogs - they were total BFFs! 💙Baby Wheeler is doing amazing in his temporary foster home! He is happy to be alive and getting along tremendously with the resident dogs and humans! 😍Wheeler is looking for a LONGER TERM FOSTER or a FUREVER HOME! We rescued Wheeler a couple of weeks ago after he was found with a shoelace tied around his muzzle 💔 #peoplesuck He could not eat, drink or cry out. It’s clear someone wanted him to die. Our Story

We are a 501c3 non-profit dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating and re-homing injured, abused, and neglected dogs from high-kill shelters and off the streets who have not been saved by other rescue groups. By no fault of their own, these dogs are homeless and hopeless on death row on euthanization lists. We are 100% volunteer run and 100% donor-funded.

Given the severity of the injuries and issues with the dogs we rescue, our vet bill are high. We value dogs of all breeds and are not breed-specific.
