Midweek Gratitude, Thanksgiving 2022 Edition.
We've made it to Thanksgiving eve, friends! Time to check in on one another and offer a little encouragement as we begin to navigate the holidays. It's a good time to ponder what we are thankful for. This week, we are thankful for the important life lessons our pets teach us, especially living in the moment. This video is of a rescued dog named Buddy happily running on “his” farm. Buddy’s favorite pastime after doting on his family is running like the wind, simply enjoying his surroundings. It's inspiring to watch pets blossom into who they are meant to be, isn't it? Perhaps we too can learn to find happiness in the moment and simply just be. We wish you a happy and peaceful Thanksgiving. We are truly grateful for you as well.
Our 4th annual Halloween Pet Costume Contest round-up video is here! Thanks for participating and watching!
Microchip helps reunite family!
Midweek gratitude.
We've made it halfway through the week, friends. Let's check in on one another, offer some warm thoughts, and talk about one thing we can all be grateful for. This week, we have a very special gratitude post. We invite you to read along and watch the video, then comment with your own positive story that we can all smile about with you.
Last week, a client brought in a kitten they found while visiting Tennessee. He was to be examined, scanned for a microchip, and given his vaccines. When we scanned the kitten, we found that he did indeed have a microchip! We then reached out to the company the microchip was registered through and they put us in contact with the owner. The kitten, now known to be Hunter went missing over a month ago. The family had searched everywhere, posted signs, and even offered a reward for his return; Hunter was nowhere to be found. As you can imagine, when we contacted the family, they were overjoyed to learn Hunter was found safe. Dad was on a business trip when the call came and flew home early to get to Hunter as soon as possible. He woke up early the next morning to drive here, picked up Hunter, and took him back home to Tennessee. Keeping it a secret from their three boys, they graciously sent us this video (above) of the reunification—of course, it had us in tears of joy. We are so grateful to have played a part in reuniting this family.
If your pet is not yet microchipped, we'd love to help. Please give us a call!

We’ve made it halfway through the week, friends. Time to check in on one another and think about gratitude. Sometimes finding even the smallest to be grateful for are not easy especially on days when things are rough. Maybe you’re watching a dear friend or family member going through a difficult time or caring for a sick pet. Maybe you’re going through something that nobody knows about. We totally get it and we see you. So how can you find something to be grateful for in those difficult times? It’s certainly not easy but, here’s a little example (please excuse my poor videography skills hehe). This video was taken at a special lady’s home who loves all creatures feathered or fluffy. She has oodles of feeders and birdbaths and monitors them daily. Aren’t these little hummingbirds precious? Sometimes it takes looking outside of ourselves and our circumstances (perhaps just outside our window) to find something to be grateful for. So, if you are able to, please take a moment and just take a peek sometime. We hope you find something that gives you a smile.
For this week's midweek gratitude post, we wish to express our collective grateful hearts for your support over the last two years. We are especially overjoyed to finally be re-opened to our clients. The positive energy you bring to your visits, your belief in us, and your love truly keep us going. When we chose to go to curbside-only visits in 2020, we were unsure how it would impact our newly-opened clinic and clientele. When you entrusted us with the care of your pets inside and away from you, we felt your presence and your gratitude for keeping everyone as safe as possible. We will never take that for granted. So today, we are grateful for you! Happy Two Year Anniversary to all our Paw Patch Animal Clinic family!
