💕Ziggy is still looking for his forever home💕Please help Ziggy find his happy ending by sharing this post with family & friends.

We know his family is waiting....

Ziggy would LOVE a canine playmate similar in energy.

Ziggy is a 4-year-old GSD but has the energy and personality of a puppy - loving, energetic, playful. He loves people and dogs and wants to play and be loved. He likes to play ball. While he is very energetic and loves to play with dogs, he can also be chill. He does well with cats.

Ziggy knows limited commands but is smart and can learn quickly. His new owner should continue his training so he can reach his full potential. A home with older children would be a best fit for Ziggy.

Ziggy is heartworm positive and is undergoing treatment.

Did you know the Fourth of July Holiday is our busiest time of year helping lost and found pets? Most cats and dogs will do anything to flee from fireworks’ scary bright lights, loud sounds, and strong smells.

That’s why we urge pet owners to NEVER take their pet to an event with fireworks. Instead, keep them in a safe, quiet place inside and away from windows and doors.

At German Shepherd Gog Rescue of Georgia we are passionate about our dogs. Not many things pull at our hearts like seeing a Shepherd not getting the love they deserve. Shepherds are natural protectors of their packs but sometimes they need a little help. If you would like to help out, the best ways are with monetary donations and fostering newly rescued shepherds. It’s an unfortunate reality that the numbers of dogs will always out number our fostering homes. If you would like to foster or know of someone please contact us so we can get one more dog out of a kill shelter.
