Emma is 12 years young and is currently being treated for heartworm.

Emma prefers a quiet home. Due to this, a home without small children might be the best fit for her.

She's going to do best in a home with a canine companion.
A dog similar in age and activity level will work best.

Emma is also indifferent to cats. A home with or without cats would be fine for her.

Gunney does have high energy so a active home is wanted.

He does excellent with other dogs

We do not know his behavior around small children, he is living with a teenager and doing great.

A home without cats is best.

He is a great dog, very friendly, and is eager to learn. He has been trained to sit, stay, and lay down.

At German Shepherd Gog Rescue of Georgia we are passionate about our dogs. Not many things pull at our hearts like seeing a Shepherd not getting the love they deserve. Shepherds are natural protectors of their packs but sometimes they need a little help. If you would like to help out, the best ways are with monetary donations and fostering newly rescued shepherds. It’s an unfortunate reality that the numbers of dogs will always out number our fostering homes. If you would like to foster or know of someone please contact us so we can get one more dog out of a kill shelter.
