Stacey Richolson is a Registered Veterinary Technician that graduated from the Veterinary Technology program at Gwinnett Technical College in 2004. She also has a Bachelor’s degree in Zoology from Auburn University. She has been in the Veterinary field since 1996, but has worked exclusively in feline medicine since 2004. From the time she was a child, Stacey has loved cats. She would even “adopt”
the neighborhood strays, and tame and take care of them. Stacey currently shares her home with her husband and several cats of her own. She enjoys traveling, attending music concerts/festivals, and reading. Sophisticated Mane is able to make your feline family members look their best! We feel that taking your cat to the hospital to be groomed can add some unneeded stresses. Also, a lot of hospitals will not groom a cat without some type of sedation, and not all felines need to be sedated. You’ve heard the saying, “My kitty is such an angel at home, but when I bring him to the vet he turns into a devil”? Well, that is where we come in. We are specially trained in handling felines. Please note, not all kitties are cooperative and some truly do need sedation to prevent a situation from becoming stressful or harmful. We will try any kitty, but if we determine they are not good candidates, we will discuss further options with you and give recommendations. We do offer simple services, such as nail trims, ear cleaning, sanitary shaves and brush outs; as well as more involved services such as shaving out mats and lion cuts.
