LAYLA NEEDS A NEW HOME ASAP!

Hey guys. About 7 or 8 Months ago I found a White female pit bull on GUM SWAMP RD in Ayden/Grifton! She was standing in the middle of the road in a curve, I saved her from an 18 wheeler. I threw her in the back of the truck and went to all the houses near by thinking i would quickly find her owner. Well after knocking on every single door down that whole road, over 100 flyers later, no word on where her home is. I can no longer keep her I HAVE to rehome her asap. I just left where I was living and she is still there, but they can't keep her either. I don't want her to go to the pound...

I would say between 2 & 3 years old MAYBE. She is very very sweet and loving. She needs someone to love her and work with her and I think she would be a great dog. She is pretty hyper I think it's from still being young and in a pen most of the time. I would have her with me but she is very dog aggressive. And so i wouldn't trust her around small children either. But for the time being i am now living with 4 dogs, chickens, and 2 small children. Any help or advice on what rescue group to contact would be AMAZING. Or just SHARE SHARE SHARE to try and find her owner!!!!!!

Her pen is usually not like that, it is from all the rain!

Sex/Alter Status: Unaltered male.

Behavior Condition: Stressed and anxious. Reactive in kennel; lunging, jumping, hard barking with tense body. Friendly and playful outside of kennel. High energy

Personality: Blue is ready to go go go! This handsome pup is a lovable guy who is very anxious in his kennel. After being found stray, Blue was hoping to find himself a loving home with an exercise partner, but all he got is a kennel and a few walks. We are hoping that we can work together to find this energetic guy someone to play with, and maybe go running! Blue is a great pup, but may not do great being kept cooped up in a kennel all day.

Dog Meet: Blue met Charlie, a 10 month old unaltered male puppy. Upon seeing Charlie, Blue pulled hard on the leash. Dogs met face to face with loose playful bodies. Dogs then started making quick playful movements towards each other. Blue would occasionally try to mount Charlie but would take correction from his handler. Both dogs were allowed to play on leash for a couple of minutes before dog meet was ended.
