Central Texas People Please help!

Babe is missing from the Seguin Texas area was last seen yesterday 9/22/22 mom and dad have been looking all night.

City animal control doesn’t have him but they have all his info and picture now. On our way to check county animal control.
*update: County doesn’t have him either 😓*

We will be out searching all day. I can’t stay at home, even the other pets are looking around cuz someone’s missing 😭.

We’re offering a reward for him if someone has him, no questions asked. Please help us bring him home. 💔

Woohoo 🇺🇸Holiday weekend!! But this weekend can be super stressful for some owners and their pets who are sensitive to noise!
Here are some things to help you and your dog!

Safety Comes First

🐶 Make sure that your dog is wearing a fitted collar that has tags that include your phone number printed directly on it, even if your dog is microchipped so your dog is returned to you as quickly as possible. A GPS tracking device is also an option.

🐶Having gates or other methods to block your dog from accessing your doors leading out side, especially if you have guests present. This is a very common way for dogs to get out of the house, as your guest will be less aware of your dog than you.

Also make sure your yard fencing is secure and if you have any doubt keep your dogs inside the house!

🐶Kennel your dog in the house and if your dog needs to go out side use a leash at all times directly tethering your dog to you.

🐶You can spend some time with your dog in some of their favorite activities like play or training, or offer a special item such as a stuffed Kong, puzzle toy, snuffle mat, or raw bone. This is great for puppies experiencing their first 4th. Make it positive! This all needs to be done in a safe place like kennel or next to you in house.

🐶Use background noise, fans, white noise, Music!

🐶Make sure you are acting normal, your dog follows cues from you. If you respond to their fear with excessive petting or consoling and a high pitched voice, your dog does not read that as comfort- they often read it as nervousness from you. Convey calmness and confidence to your dog.

🐶If your dog is normally not allowed to climb into your lap on your couch, that rule should still apply. If they are aloud on the couch no petting while they are showing uneasiness. Just let them be close.

Set your dog up to be safe and successful!

and night shifts available 7am-11pm. We are looking for individuals that are hard-working, dedicated, and team oriented.

• Handle general care tasks such as feeding and grooming of the animals
• Assist in restraining animals for veterinary management
• Keep records of animal feedings, treatments, and other updates
• Engage in play activities and exercise with the animals
• Maintain a clean and healthy environment
Qualifications:
• Previous experience in animal care or other related fields
• Passion to help and treat animals
• Ability to interact with animals in a calm, non-threatening manner
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
