Hi everyone! My apologies for not posting in a very long time. I had several family members become sick and pass away. It’s been tough but I’m planning on becoming more involved again with my cavies. My focus has shifted from raising primarily Teddies as well as longhairs to only raising & showing Peruvians and Silkies. When I started in cavies back in 1998 I raised only Peruvians and then added in Silkies. So I feel like I’ve come full circle. I am excited to be raising longhairs again!!

I’m planning on going to several shows in the coming months and I’ll post show flyers for the ones I’ll be attending. I would love to meet you all!

After some time, i have decided to stop selling t-shirts myself and instead use my suppliers store fronts instead, and let them do the orders direct with you! Neatoshop have, since day one, been my main supplier so you are getting the same quality as always.

They have not only t-shirts, but hoodies, v-necks, sweaters, Sports tops, curvy fit, tank tops and more!

They are U.S. based, so this is more specifically for U.S. customers... in the new year, my U.K. based supplier will also have the same service for "rest of the world" people but it will take longer. This is better for you and better for me as it is much less work... this means my Shopify Store will be "other" items such as Postcards, prints, badges etc. and should free up more time. Financially i take lees profit per t-shirt sold but the time saved is more important.

So this store (link in the comments and also on the LEARN MORE button at the top of the page) is primarily for U.S. customers although until my U.K. based store is running ANYONE CAN ORDER FROM IT, but delivery times are weeks instead of days (be warned).

This can only help me out and as said, ALL PREVIOUS DESIGNS ARE AVAILABLE ON THIS SITE (the only official place to buy my t-shirts now).

Hi everyone! I hope you all have had a wonderful summer. Its been way too hot here in Central Texas! I look forward to cooler temperatures.

Coming up on September 10, 2022, there will be 2 cavy shows in Belton at the Expo Center. One will be hosted by Mid-Tex RBA and the other by LSCC (Lone Star Cavy Club). This will be my first show of the 2022-2023 season. I can’t wait!! I hope I’ll be able to meet some of you at the show!

This looks to be a great show next weekend! I won’t be able to make this one but hopefully I will be going to the September 10th show in Belton.

Early entries are due this coming Tuesday at 10pm for this show. This show is dedicated to Rita Rushing who unexpectedly passed away June 6th. For those that did not know her, she was a long time breeder of Teddies and won many awards with them. She did a lot to further our breed, and enjoyed teaching and helping others with Teddies. Her niece, Kimberly Davis, was often seen at shows with Rita and she too developed a love for Teddies!

There are fabulous awards for these shows, as well as a "Best Teddy" memorial award and a Best of the Best competition for all the Best in Show winners of the 8 shows (open and youth). I hope you all will be able to make it!

Hi everyone! This past Saturday we were able to attend the Alamo Area Cavy Club show in Seguin, TX. My daughter showed her beautiful TSW Silkie boar and received 2 Best of Breeds.

This Saturday we will be showing at the LSCC show “Pigs on the Farm.” This will be our first show back in some time. I will be showing a few Teddies and my daughter will be showing a Peruvian and a Silkie.

I would like to wish all of you a Happy New Year! 2021 was a rough year for my family and for the Caviary. We are all happy to have a fresh start in 2022!

On the horizon we have 1 litter of Teddies due soon. I’m keeping my fingers crossed that the babies will be born safely. I have several longhairs that we hope will successfully become parents in the next few months. You can find information here on this wall about Peruvian and Silkie litters being born or the wall for KB’s Cavies where I will post about Teddies.

I can’t wait to see all of you again at the shows!

It’s been a difficult summer trying to have litters born! In mid-June I lost 2 junior Teddy sows and 1 week ago my favorite Peruvian sow,
Emmie, passed away from pregnancy complications along with one of her sons. 😞 I have her surviving Silkie son, Shimi, that I’m feeding and he will be staying here.

Good morning all! For those that have ever wondered what a Guinea Pig show was like, here are photos of the ACBA (Guinea Pig) Specialty show happening this weekend in Ohio. Thank you to my friend Sharon Miesen for taking these pictures and allowing me to share them.
