Under the leadership of Dr John Faught and Dr Jed Rogers, Firehouse is a pioneer in Central Texas veterinary care. In 2004, Dr. Jed Rogers built the first Firehouse Animal Health Center in a 100-year-old building near downtown Denver, Colorado. The business took its name from the historic building, which was once a fire station. In 2012, Dr. John Faught and Dr. Rogers decided to build the first Firehouse facility in Austin, Texas. Firehouse has grown quickly and now has locations in Westlake, Kyle, Leander, Round Rock, and Dripping Springs.

In 2017, Dr. Faught and Dr. Rogers had the opportunity to carry on the mission of their friend and colleague, Dr. Kelly Drake. Dr. Drake provided the Round Rock community with exceptional veterinary care starting in 1999. When Dr. Drake decided to retire, our shared values and purpose made it clear that Drake Pet Hospital should continue serving our community as Firehouse Round Rock.
