🦃From our family to yours, we wish a very safe and Happy Thanksgiving!

🦃We will be closed Thursday November 23 thru Sunday November 26th. We will resume normal hours on Monday November 27th.

In light of a recent incident that happened with 2 elderly dogs that were in our care, and statements that have been made about our business, we felt we owed it to our customers to be upfront and honest about the situation.

After the 2 elderly dogs boarded with us for 2 weeks, one of the dogs passed away in its home hours after leaving our facility. Our hearts go out to the owner and the family that was close to the dog and understand what a devastation it is to lose a beloved pet.

While we feel it is in the best interest of the owner and Mel’s Pet Parlour to not share too much information, we would like to share that if you have seen any reviews or posts about our business, please keep in mind there are two sides to every story.

The well being and safety of pets in our care has always and will always be our top priority. If you would like to discuss with us the actions we take to ensure your pet’s safety, please do not hesitate to reach out to us.

One of our sweet shop cats crossed the rainbow bridge yesterday. Although, he mostly stayed hidden, he often would come out to greet our customers or lay on his cat tree to soak up the sunshine and cuddle with his sister Taylor! Rest easy sweet Mordecai! 🐱🌈
