Some dogs find traditional boarding environments overwhelming due to the noise, chaos & various handlers. This is especially true for senior dogs, dogs that aren’t dog-friendly or have some stranger danger issues, making boarding a very stressful experience for them. When pups stay with me, they enjoy their own climate-controlled cottage, free from interactions with other dogs or new people and th

e noise of a traditional boarding facility. During meals, I stay with the pups, ensuring they feel comfortable and relaxed. We spend time playing, cuddling, and engaging in enrichment activities, creating a calm and peaceful environment for them while they are away from home. The fenced yard offers ample space for your pup to exercise, bask in the sun, or enjoy activities like agility and fetch. I am happy to accommodate special requests and ensure your pet receives extra love and attention during their stay with me. Amenities include:
8X10 or 8x12 climate controlled cottage
Smart TV & white noise machine
Indoor camera for continuous monitoring
Security floodlight with camera
Comfortable bedding with plush animals and toys
Secure fenced area at front to contain door darters

Personal note: I have 4 dogs of my own (Abby, Zoey, Hershey, & Preston). I also have 2 foster dogs (Buster & Aries). I've always had a deep love for dogs, and I find immense fulfillment in helping them, especially when they need a little additional comfort. In 2015, I began volunteering at the Williamson County Regional Animal Shelter and gained extensive handling experience with a wide variety of dog behaviors, including stranger danger, over-arousal, jumpiness, and mouthiness. I am Fear Free Certified, use consent-based interaction and am knowledgeable in trauma-related behavior issues. Please note: I require that all fur babies be current on their vaccinations.

Chief lives across the street from me and I walk him occasionally. He’s such a gentle giant and so very sweet. He loves people and other dogs!

I've got not one, but two Bellas staying with me! While they’re both Wilco alums, this black & white princess was adopted in Sept 2022, and she's got a serious case of stranger danger. She's not a fan of other dogs, so I'm happy I can offer her a chill and stress-free space while her family is away. No barking mad chaotic boarding facilities for this pup! Isn’t she just gorgeous?!

Teeny weeny cutie patootie Bo wishing you all a Happy Friday!

Bo (aka Beauregard) was one of six Chi's that came from a very sad situation where their owner committed su***de and no one knew they were in the home. They were significantly overweight and living in an outdoor pen. It was December 2021 and the weather was getting cold. Final Frontier Rescue Project was told that the local shelter was full and no other rescues would help, so thankfully some emergency fosters stepped up and they were able to be pulled into the rescue.

One of those fosters was Bo's mom, who fell in love with him as soon as he arrived and adopted him a month later.

Fostering saves lives! Even a brief foster period can help so much. If FFRP doesn't have a dog that matches your lifestyle, check with your local shelter.

Snow is here while his family is on vacation. Years ago, Snow was at risk of being killed due to a bite incident on his record. Thankfully, a dedicated volunteer stepped up, found him a foster home, raised the necessary funds, and that enabled Final Frontier Rescue Project to rescue him. Snow's foster family fell in love with him and adopted him.

Snow’s story is just one of many successes made possible by people fighting for these animals. FFRP needs your support to continue saving lives, and today is the last day of the fundraising raffle. Please help if you can.

It was so hot today so I made some custom frozen treats to help Lenny, R***r, & little miss Kimber cool off.

Some of their kibble, organic greek yogurt, dab of peanut butter, and some bone broth.

I’m not sure if Max was using the pool to cool off or as a bidet 🤣

The water company has sent out a notice “restricting non-essential water use”…I think this is 💯% essential 🤣

Occasionally pet parents will ask if I would be willing to keep up with their pups current training plan when they’re with me for an extended period. As you can see Bella is very good at ‘touch’. *I am not a trainer and I DON’T do board & train, but I do believe my guests need a variety of enrichment daily so we work on what they enjoy between cuddle sessions 😉

I'm really excited to announce that my second cottage is now ready for pups!! I still need to add skirting along the bottom, a little porch, stepping stones & pea gravel in the yard, and some décor inside, but it's finally mostly done! I think I might name it Pooch Pawradise. What do you think?? Check it out y'all!! Special thanks to my husband for all his hard work!

It was warm enough today to let Dakota play in the sprinkler again (one of his very favorite things to do!). He also ‘helped’ me water some halfway dead flowers. (video in comments because I can only post 1 video)🤷‍♀️
