You’re probably used to hearing us preach the importance of annual check ups and regular dental cleanings. Here’s a great example of why that is from earlier this week. Dental X-rays revealed this patient was a few months away (at best) from having a broken jaw!

With Valentine’s Day around the corner, chocolate toxicity is a common emergency we see this time of year. While it may be a sweet treat for you, chocolate can be dangerous—even deadly—for pets. Signs of toxicity include:
🔹 Vomiting & diarrhea
🔹 Restlessness or hyperactivity
🔹 Rapid heart rate or abnormal rhythms
🔹 Tremors or seizures

Hope everyone is staying warm lately! Prestige Animal Wellness will be having a delayed opening tomorrow Tuesday, January 21st in anticipation of inclement weather! Depending on how the weather goes for the rest of the day we may have to close, which you will all be updated on as soon as possible.
