Introducing Lucy & Maggie!
Lucy recently had CCL surgery and required special recovery care- which we were happy to do! These sweet little girls have personalities for days and were an absolute joy (and quite entertaining) to care for❤️

February 21st was a rough one for our family, as we said goodbye to 2 of the best. I genuinely appreciate everyone’s patience as I somehow try to mend my broken-heart.

On Feb 21st Skeeter peacefully fell asleep at the comfort of home. She got to experience the joy of a bowl of chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream, chocolate, and Round Rock Donuts. She fell asleep in our arms and could feel our love for her as she took her last breath. She was ready and it was such a peaceful experience for her. As heartbroken as we are, we are so thankful we were able to give her that final gift and make the most of her last few weeks with us. She loved her “walks” in the wagon and even got to have a picnic on her favorite hike & bike trail. She brought so much joy to this world and was so dearly loved by many. Osteosarcoma is such a beast and Skeeter put up a hell of a fight. We are so proud of her.
The day that we said goodbye to our Skeeter, we also lost our Hank. Hanky was my Dad’s best buddy, my mom’s baby, and the sweetest, most obnoxious brother I didn’t know I needed. Hank passed doing what he loved the most, hunting with his best friend. He was unfortunately bit by a rattlesnake on his last and final adventure. He put up a hell of a fight for 3 days and even received 6 vials of anti venom. Life can be so cruel and unfair. He wasn’t even 2 yet and loved life. Our world is too quiet without him.
Though he drove her absolutely insane, Skeeter loved her Uncle Hank dearly. He was constantly pestering her and chasing her. She was probably slightly irritated, yet thrilled that he followed her over rainbow bridge. He was so gentle and sweet in her final days. Though I want them both back here with us and I’m so angry that they’re both gone, I’m thankful they have each other and know they are throughly enjoying their well earned wings together.

Our most sincere condolences to those who were affected by the fire at Ponderosa Pet Resort. Our hearts are hurting for the 75 dogs who gained their wings, their families, the staff at Ponderosa, and the Georgetown Fire Department.

It’s hard to believe that Bailey and Dobby have been with us for 5 years now! Getting greeted with a tornado of fur and screams of joy every time I open the front door will never get old🥰❤️.
To celebrate our 5 years together- they BOTH stood still long enough for me to capture a picture. It’s an absolute miracle!🤣🙃❤️
