Buster headed back to his super happy mom today. This boy is started under saddle and with a bit. Basic commands and some intro trail riding. His mom is excited to start riding around the ranch. Buster has some amazing gaits.. huge walk, smooth trot and glass smooth canter. He has shown a stunning flat walk and dog walk as well. Enjoy your new adventures buddy.

This 6 year old cremello Walkaloosa came in to be started under saddle. He is a little lacking in confidence and hasn’t had a lot of worldly exposure so we are working on his bravery and learning…”it’s going to be ok” 😊. Buster has a kind spirit and we know he is going to make his mom a great riding horse. (see comments for more videos and pictures of this handsome boy)

Looking for a person willing to come out 3 - 5 times a week to clean stalls, and clean general barn area. During vacations, there would be more hours available with daily feeding. This is for 6-7 horses. Please be comfortable dealing with horses to include well behaved stallions and young horses. Additional hours and duties available based on the persons abilities and availability. The days are flexible. Pay will be dependent on hours worked but averages around $300 - $400 a month for basic work. There is also the option to have free rides and lessons. Peggy Cummings will be in Corvallis August 19-21 for a clinic. She comes to the expo and is amazing to work with. If you have a nervous or high energy horse you are going to see a big difference in their performance. This is also great to see your horse soften to your cues and use their hind end. This is not just for English or dressage riders. Clinic says run 9:30-4:00. There is stalls available for $20 a night. All riding spots are filled but there is no limit to auditors it is $35 per day or $90 for the weekend. Messsge me if you are interested in attending.

Raven delivered 3 healthy pups today. This litter will be almost a duplicate of her first one as Harambe is Reno’s son. We are so excited to see how these sweet pups turn out.

Harambe is out of Reno, a German import. He is a big, beautify, kind boy who is very correct in confirmation and disposition. Fully health tested.

Raven is a wonderfully built, big girl. She has good play drive, strong athletic ability and a excellent disposition. Fully health tested.

(This will be her final litter)

Some pictures of the handsome Q (Yuquiyu). He is a Pure Puerto Rican Paso Fino Stud. He has a bunch of muscling up to do and will need some chiropractor work. But we are in love with this guys great work ethic and kind heart. We are building some good fundamental ground work and a relationship/respect. Keep your eyes open for more updates and some videos down the road. We think he is going to be a wonderful asset to the continuation of the PPR lines. We are so excited to see how this boy blooms.

If you are fighting flies every year look at adding these to your attempt. This is our second year and there is a considerable difference. Last year we used them just around the barn this year we added around the house. We get 2 bags every month and it has lowered the fly population every year. I haven’t had to fly spray every day. Another great tip is spray your barn down 2-4 times a week with fly spray and pine sole mixture. I spray the walls and ceilings in the stall and the aisle way avoiding the water and feed area. Next big investment is to get an automatic fly spray system for the barn.

Grey is Bellagio our andalusian and the bay is Prime our Paso fino stallion. The andalusian is one of the founding breeds for the Paso’s you can really see the resemblance. Got to love those Spanish boys

Little Tikka is one of our new additions to the farm. She is almost a year old now (Feb 16th). We got her from the wonderful Forzani Performance Horses farm in Texas when she was 6 months old. She is doing great with her ground work and exposure to new things. Can't wait to see where this girl goes in the future.
