From being hit by a car on June 4 to undergoing hip surgery on June 7, Hopscotch's resilience shines through. 🌟💪 With his medications behind him, he's now focused on rehab and takes short walks throughout the day to keep his hip limber. Though he can't run just yet, his desire to chase squirrels and bugs is evident. 🐿️🦟 This calm and laid-back boy is house trained and crate trained, making him an absolute sweetheart. ❤️🏡 While he may be a bit wary of strangers and cars during walks, his progress is undeniable. 🚶♂️👏 Hopscotch is ready to be your main squeeze, 🐶✨ *Needs to be the only pet in the home*

🐾Hi there, my name is Butters and I am a lovable senior gal who is eagerly looking for a new home to call my own. I'm a sweet lab mix who just adores curling up in laps and getting plenty of attention from my humans. I have already been spayed and microchipped, and I am up-to-date on all of my vaccinations. According to my foster family, I am great with other dogs and kids. I am well-trained and know how to sit, stay, and shake. I'm also housetrained, so that's one less thing for you to worry about! Even though I'm a senior, I still have plenty of energy and love to play with my toys. I'm particularly fond of chewing on bones and carrying around tennis balls. However, I have never been one to chew things up or squeak toys excessively. While I'm quite curious about the world around me, I've never attempted to escape from my yard. I don't mind being left alone from time to time, but I prefer to be around my human family as much as possible. Max is currently in a foster home but his foster can no longer foster him, we are trying to find him a foster so he does not have to come to the shelter as he gets very stressed here. Max is aged around 6 years old, current on vaccines, fixed and chipped. As well as he is dog friendly, kid friendly, and people friendly!
