Behavioral training from this past week included locations in Hoboken, Bridgewater, Rockaway, Morris Plains, Hackettstown, Sparta ,Blairstown, and Flemington, with some towns in between😄All over Nj !
Our focus was on muzzle training for vet visits, addressing dog reactivity, human reactivity in home and outside environments, guarding behaviors, and separation anxiety.
The families are just as important to me.
Without them on board I could never help their dogs. ❤️

Rori enjoyed a fun hike at the state park with her foster pawrents on Monday! So ! 🤩
Rori is a friendly we pulled from shelter in NJ. She loves all the dogs & people that she meets! She is about 9 months old & came to us not using her rear leg. Rori (& her fab foster pawrents!) worked very hard at her recovery since her hip & knee surgery in October. Rori has been going to PT twice a week which includes water therapy, massage, laser treatments & more. She is doing great now! She’s finally able to enjoy some fun, visits to the park…& more!
You know what else she would really enjoy?!

Long leash trail hiking with my Mack Man .
Always a pleasure when they are truly leash trained.
No force ever.
Even following me,and my direction out long.
He knows my body and my verbal direction even with his back to me.
Long leash hiking, improves the 6 foot leash human straight line sidewalk walk.
For many dog’s who naturally don’t do well on a leash.
Gives them more freedom to move how dog’s move naturally.
Remember it’s a human thing a leash lol
Ps now I can have full conversations and he knows what I want lol
I intrested in long leash training with your dog ?
It would be my pleasure to teach you both.

Leash training today with Yogi formally Kita adopted from Ahs Newark shelter . Yogi and her Dad are right on point !!!! Incredible!!!! No force!! The real deal right here !! Remember ,nothing you buy will stop the pulling . It only helps you. True leash work is teaching your dog what you want them to do on a leash. Force is not learning truly for any dog .
Operation Christmas Wish Goliath. Please share Goliath he needs out . Make his Christmas wish come true . Ahs Newark shelter 124 Evergreen Newark Nj Rescue
Training with Brody yesterday . Great play with his sister in Slow-motion. He has a great teacher for a sister . Dogs being dogs big and small .
Does your dog has extra energy brewing before walk . Free agility in the park !! Look around ,see what you can do to drain it . Out of the box think. Get off the human straight line once in awhile, see how a dog moves and let him . Guide him and have some fun . Then after proceed with the walk . A true leash trained dog will follow you and your body and direction . You just use a leash as a seat belt for safety . Does your seat belt make you drive better 🤣🤣🤣🤣. No harm corrections , no magic , no pulling , hmmmm it should only be a dogs seat belt . Also it’s the law in most places. My leashes around the neck are not used to correct and choke . I teach them not to pull so what does it matter as long as they can’t back out . A Harness , leash , etc are seatbelts not tools to train or hurt them . Ps prong seat belts for humans !!! Brilliant
Full day of training today . Working with beautiful Alison and Mom this morning in park .Working on building Alison’s confidence on leash . Using out of the box techniques . Giving her ,a different experience. Not one grain of force ever used. Never will I introduce force to communicate to a dog . If it’s not working ,I get in and watch more , learn more about the dog . Hard work takes time and patience. No quick fix ,slam bam thank you ma’am. If that’s how you roll, then you will never have the harmony of really communicating to a dog . And that’s a shame , because is magical. Pain makes the dog do it in that moment . Never will you know the true joy of seeing a dog actually process and learn because you got to the level they understand of communication. That would be called Dog ❤️ So proud of Allison she did amazing ! Most of all ,her family who give Allison 110 percent . Thank you ❤️
