We got a text last night around 10:00 from Loxahatchee Lost and Found that a bobcat got hit on Northlake Blvd and was still alive. I arrived rather quickly and a resident had her car emergency flashers on and PBG Police were there also. I picked him up and transported to the Sanctuary. He was in rough shape with mostly head trauma and he couldn’t get up. I stabilized him and gave him fluids and some antibiotics. First thing this morning I took him to Rainforest Clinic and Dr Susan Clubb and Dr Jenna started to work on him. (It was their day off by the way)The Bobcat was there for a good part of the day by then he was looking better and even sat up briefly. Now he’s back at the Sanctuary recuperating.
