Dr. Chani Rue was raised in Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas. She completed a Bachelor’s degree in Science from Texas A&M University Corpus Christi and earned her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine at the University of Florida. After graduating, she completed a small animal internship at BluePearl Pet Hospital in Clearwater, FL. From there, she continued to work towards her passion in exotic animal medicine by completing an internship at The Bird & Exotic Hospital in Greenacres, FL. Dr. Rue has an adorable cat named Ravyn and likes trying new restaurants and breweries, especially places with live music. She enjoys life on the coast and visits local beaches as often as she can.

Today was a sad day for us, but also the start of new beginnings for Sanjana. Sanjana started volunteering as a high school student with us and did that for 3 years. After that she became and employee for an additional 3.5 years and has worn many hats since. Sanjana has maybe checked you in or out, made you an appointment, bathed your pet, or even assisted in a room. Sadly today was her last day as she is moving towards finishing her degree at the Univeristy of Miami and getting her PHD. We have enjoyed our time with Sanajana and especially the bond and friendships we have all built with her. Sanjana, we love you and will miss you and wish you the best of luck with all your future endeavors! Please help us in wishing Sanajana the very best for her bright future! ❤️🥰 Congratulations!!! 🥳🎉

"Penny" wonders- could your cat have an ear problem? First signs are scratching their ears and shaking their head more than usual. Inside of ears can begin to look dirty with crusty brown or black build up. Ear mites are a common problem and can cause itching and even bleeding when not treated. If you have multiple cats, good to get all checked out as ear mites are very contagious. You know your cat and we are here if you see something out of the ordinary.🐱
