Royal Palm Veterinary Center Continuing to provide exceptional care and services. Royal Palm Animal Hospital was established by the beloved Dr. Richard Ringler over 25 years ago.

In 2008, Dr. Christina Herejk joined Dr. Ringler and his dedicated staff. Dr. Herejk grew up in South Florida and is a graduate of the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine. (Go Gators!)

In 2013, Dr. Herejk acquired Royal Palm Animal Hospital from Dr. Ringler with the plan to carry on his life's work. Although the name of the hospital has changed, our goal to continue to provide exceptional care and services to our patients and clients remain the same.

Upon joining our practice, she was entirely ‘green’ to the veterinary profession, but was enrolled in the Penn Foster Veterinary Program. Already a super compassionate individual, we have watched her blossom into a skilled technician. Part 2: Chica, our cute #FelineFriday (available for adoption 😉) was treated for Ear Mites - Otodectes cynotis. In veterinary practice, ear mite infections in dogs and cats may present as a disease that causes intense itching in one or both ears, which in turn triggers scratching at the affected ear. An unusually dark colored ear wax (cerumen) may also be produced. The ear mite is the most common cause of ear infections in cats, quickly spreading from one cat to another through direct contact. The most common ear mite (as well as mange mite) treatments currently use the antiparasitics ivermectin and selamectin, usually as topical preparations. #creepycute #parasitecorner #creepyparasite #royalpalmveterinarycenter

Grayson is our #FelineFriday! 🐈‍⬛ Who says doctor visits are scary? He used to be confident and assertive, but now with previsit medications he’s very accepting of us. He looks very happy for the pets by Dr Herejk. #royalpalmveterinarycenter
