Yesterday August 28th was National Rainbow Bridge 🌈 Remembrance Day. We sure do miss the sweet faces that used to come see us often that have now crossed over the Rainbow Bridge. If you have a photo to share of your pet that has crossed over please do share we love to look at photos and memories🖤🪽🌈
Hey ELM’s Grooming family! We hope you all are having a great week! We wanted to let you guys know that it’s a short week for us..We will be off tomorrow-Monday. Eric would have been 41 years old tomorrow🖤 So we decided to take the rest of this week off and let Elicia celebrate his life the way she would like to🖤 We love you guys! Hello ELM’s Family!! We hope you all are having a great weekend! We wanted to give you guys some news. As most of you may know, Elicia sadly lost her beloved husband Eric in May. Since his passing Elicia has struggled to find work/home life balance. We have thought about it for the last two months and have finally decided to make it official. Starting in October we will be switching our business hours to Monday-Friday! We will no longer be taking appointments for Saturdays. We do understand that this may inconvenience a handful of our amazing clients. We have thought on it and thought on it..We do feel this is best for us and the future of ELM’s Grooming. We love you all so much and we hope you can understand this difficult decision we have made. We hope and pray everyone has a great week coming up and good luck to all the amazing kiddos heading back to school this next week! Please continue to keep Elicia and Ethyn in your prayers as they prepare to start Ethyn on his 5th grade year!

Hi ELM’s family! We’ve got some bummer news! Unfortunately Elicia has tested positive for the darn COVID today. We did go ahead and cancel the remaining pups for the week. We actually are going to be closed next week as I will be out of town and Elicia wanted to spend the last week she could with her son Ethyn before getting ready for all the back to school things! We will be returning to the salon on Tuesday July 30th. Please be patient with us as I will be unavailable to answer text/voicemails and Elicia is now sick. We are currently booked out for haircuts until end of August early September. We do still have bath availability in August though! We love you guys and will try to respond back to your calls/texts as quickly as possible! Keep Elicia in your thoughts please she is heading home now for some much needed rest🖤

While the salon was closed in May we received a message from our dear friends down the street from us at Diamond Collar Grooming. They were sending us love and wanted to let us know they had came up with a way to give Elicia and her son Ethyn some support while we were closed. They so kindly donated a portion of each sell from every pup that went to see them for a spa day from ELM’S Grooming. We do not have enough words to express how truly thankful and grateful we are to have so many amazing people in our lives that would even want to try to help in anyway they can. This truly means so much to us. Thank you Diamond Collar Grooming for doing that for Elicia and Ethyn, We love you guys!
Today one of our amazing ELM’s Grooming family members shared with us that he just recently lost his beautiful wife on the 11th. Two days ago another family that we love just gave birth to a beautiful baby girl that almost immediately had to go into open heart surgery. These are just two families out of the many that we see on a daily basis. It just goes to show you truly never know what the person beside you could be dealing with or going through. I know it may be hard at times but don’t forget to be kind to one another out there this weekend and everyday if you can! We are all we’ve got..

I spent the afternoon at the salon getting it all cleaned up and smelling good to welcome everyone back starting tomorrow 6/6!! We are excited to see you all! Please say a quick prayer over the salon, Elicia and myself as we are still a bit overwhelmed but ready to get back to the salon and start seeing all the beautiful pups again! I have been trying my hardest to get everyone rescheduled that would like to be but Elicia was already pretty booked for the month of June before we had to shut down for a bit. So it has been a bit of a struggle… We are trying to get everything sorted out! Please be patient with us, we do understand that it is a bit frustrating having to wait it out. If you have not received a text from us please do not hesitate to text us. We would love to hear from you! I do still have a handful of pups on my list that I haven’t been able to get to yet but just know we are trying our hardest to get everyone accommodated as quickly and as professional as possible! ELM’s Grooming family! We are making arrangements to get back to the salon! We miss you all so so much. We truly want to thank every one of yall for the support, love the prayers the donations…Everything you have done for us in this time has just been such a blessing. We are a little overwhelmed but we will figure this out! While we have been away we had to cancel over 110 babies! We are so extremely sorry to those babies. We feel terrible!!! We know some of you guys had waited weeks for those appointments. Unfortunately life is very unpredictable and things happen out of our control. It has always been just Elicia and myself at the salon so when things come up we don’t normally have a back up plan. We have learned we probably should haha! Anyways I am making this post to let you all know that we are going to be back to the salon on Thursday June 6th! If you your baby had an appointment with us May 15th-June 5th 2024 I will be reaching out to you to see if you would like to reschedule. We do realize some pups may have had to go elsewhere to keep up with their spa days we completely understand that. We just want to make sure you do not think we just up and forgot about you all. If you do not hear for us and would like to reschedule please do not hesitate to reach out to us! I am going to try by best to not over look anyone but I may accidentally do so. For the time being we are going to hold off on accepting new clients to insure we have space for all of our current clients. Thank y’all so much for your patience’s with us and understanding it truly means so much! We love y’all and we cannot wait to see all the pups again!

I just wanted to give one last update. Eric’s Funeral was on Thursday May 23rd. It was beautiful. Flowers were sent and displayed they were all so beautiful. Thank you all so much for everything you have done and all the prayers you have sent to Elicia and Ethyn. I wish I could thank each and everyone of you guys one by one. You truly do not understand how much this all means. If you were unable to attend I am going to attach the slideshow to this post if you would like to see it and see a glimpse of some of the amazing memories that were made through Eric’s life. You are so missed Eric Moreno. We love you please watch over us all and show Elicia and Ethyn that you are with them whenever you can.

This is the hardest decision I am having to make in my whole life. My Blackie boy is supposed to be put to sleep at 4:30pm today. Unfortunately he’s medication is not working and he is now spitting up his seizure medication causing him to have violent seizures every few hours. My poor Blackie Biasatti. I love you so much and I am so sorry I cannot save you from this pain. I hope you know I am trying to do what is best for you. Please go find your original owner and wait for me to get up there to you. I love you so much Blackie boy🖤😭

It is with an extremely heavy heart that we say see you later to three of our ELM’s Grooming babies. We lost Bella in February, Lola and Ghost crossed over the rainbow bridge this past month. Although we only had the honor of grooming you one time sweet Bella we loved you just like anyone else that has been to us many times..Rest easy sweet girl. 🖤 Oh miss Lola where do we even begin..You will be so missed! Lola came to see us every two weeks like clock work! If she came into the salon to early in the morning she would let us know she didn’t get her morning nap in lol our grumpy girl! We had the pleasure of seeing her 23 times! You will be so missed Lola girl. Then there is our Ghost boy! Oh Ghost Malone we love you boy! We got to see you 12 different times! Jenn also got to hang with you at your house for a bit while your mom went out of town. We love you so much boy! Watch over your sweet momma for us. Thank you to the family’s of these sweet babies. We love y’all, you continue to be in our prayers. 🖤

Sweet Jack came in scared to death..After lots of love, patience and floor cuddles Elicia was able to give him a much needed haircut! Jack told us NO bath today ladies!!
