Poor Cheyenne is feeling blue... well actually she is watching TV... but we did get news this morning that the stud we thought we had lined out has moved to another state. So we are looking for a handsome intact male that would like to meet a new friend. If we can find one, red or blue, she did just go into heat, so we can meet the stud and if all goes well we can breed her and have pups after Valentines Day! If you have a heeler male and would be interested in breeding please let me know. If not I am pursuing other leads... Wish me luck!

Introducing little Poncho. He is the latest in our little family. He is so smart already and learns super quick. With all the family losses, and having to travel, and then moving, our girls have been all stressed out here and it has been throwing their heats off I believe. So we are back to a routine, and hoping this little bundle of joy will help them get back in the baby making spirit lol... They are getting so close already and he really fits in well...

My girls' cycles are off this heat. Boo should be coming in anytime and we are thinking Cheyenne will come into hers in a few months. So we do plan to breed this year. We gave Boo a few years to just be a pup first so this will be her first batch. Usually we don't breed two batches in a year but I think we will go ahead and breed Cheyenne this summer and then will be retiring her from the program. She loves pups and is a great momma which is why we are going to give her one more experience but I always fix my girls at age 6 for their health and don't like breeding more than 3 broods in their life. We are watching Boo daily for her heat and already have a stud on standby. It has been a tough year for our family, we have lost five family members, including my pa, since New Years. I know that having some puppies and working with them to get them ready to go will help balance some of the grief with a little joy. I will keep everyone posted when we do get the breeding done and throughout the pregnancy and after the big event with lots of photos as usual... y'all have a great spring and thank you for supporting our page...
