Witnessing the accelerated growth of a puppy is fascinating. Within a brief period of less than three weeks, puppies exhibit remarkable advancements, including opened eyes, developed hearing, vocal interactions, strengthened mobility, and self-sufficient urination and defecation. They will soon initiate the consumption of solid food and liquids.

Yes, puppies do respond positively to "baby talk" or high-pitched, emotionally expressive speech πΎ, and research suggests they prefer this type of communication π«£ Sometimes it's a π€ over the top!!

Do you see what I see...puppies have their π open. Tulip and Daisy are right on track. Their vision initially is blurry but it won't be long before everything becomes clearer. Their hearing will begin to develop, and soon they will find their voices.

What can we expect at this stage in their development- They are mobile πΎ πΎ
Teething starts, mom will begin weaning her pups, soften food will be introduced. Their sight and hearing has developed. They start to recognize voices and will gravitate towards familiar sounds; mom, siblings, and their hoomans π€
You will see their little tails wag. You will hear them vocalize with one another and mimic mom and littermates behaviors. Mom no longer stimulates them to go potty.

Let me start by saying...I am easily distracted when handling our puppies πΎ. It's definitely relaxing and gives you a sense of mindfulness, to be presence and aware in the moment β¨οΈ So I may ramble π«£ What can we expect of the pups at this stage in their development...Eyes begin or may be open, the mimic/learn how to act by following mom's guidance, they may be able to stand but will be wobbly at first, and they realize they have a voice.

By the fifth week, these little adventurers have started to find their true identities. As their little personalities develope, you will begin to see which are the born leaders ready to conquer the world and which are laid-back, eager to please their hoomans. Their tiny frames have transformed into sturdy bodies and their coordination has reached a whole new level of development. Littermates engage in lively interactions. These playful interactions not only contribute to the puppies' physical development but also lay the groundwork for harmonious relationships in their future furever homes π‘.
