Thanks to Doug Payne of Payne Equestrian LLC for another awesome in-house clinic!

Mia and Deli went out for exposure today and the little pony that could just blew us away! Can’t wait to see how these two continue to develop.

Virginia and Marple returned for their 4th clinic with Doug and each time they learn something new to take home! Plus, Doug has now convinced her to go show recognized with us so… YAY!

Got to watch Doug do a demo on three of his own horses today which of course is always a treat.

Your horse trainers don’t really get their “weekends off” you think we have two days off for ourselves? Think again. We’re still out here feeding and looking after horses twice a day everyday, in the rain, extreme heat, before church, before date night, sick and all of the above. Don’t forget we can’t sleep in on the weekends because the horses need to be fed. We truly don’t get much vacation either, time off cost us money. It’s our money we pay our top notch horse sitters to watch them and care for them just like we do. We are our own boss, we don’t get to ask for vacation days or sick days off. Our jobs don’t continue to get done with us gone by someone else, it’s still waiting for us when we get back. Let your trainers enjoy their little weekend to themselves, we promise your horses are being well taken care of, they’re cared for just like our own. Be kind when we take a weekend vacation off to ourselves, we promise it bothers us more to leave than it bothers you.

- $10 per dry stall per night
- Please bring food, shavings and supplies for at least 3 days. As long as weather permits, local feed stores and tack stores are nearby.
- Plan/map out your trip to ensure clear and safe roadways before traveling
- No riding or using rings, hand walking only
- RV hook-ups are available for $10 per night

Congrats to Tehya Weaver and her family on their official purchase of Hudson! Tehya has been leasing Hudson for a few months now and although selling Hudson was not in my plans, sometimes the right homes just fall into place. I couldn’t have asked for him to go to better people 💗
