Our newest retiree got here 3 weeks ago from NJ and is all settled in. He enjoyed his first “sleep over” out with his friends last night, making us both very happy. You would never know he was almost 30! Welcome Ditto to the Moose Creek Farm Family!

Two farm kids are celebrating birthdays today!

Sharky…the ladies man and farm stud muffin (in spirit not body parts 😉) is 18 today! The only thing this big hunk loves more than the ladies is his food!

Eloise… my giant scrumptious baby girl is 2 today! She currently looks like an overgrown (17.1h) Billy goat but she is going to be just beautiful and massive when her body parts catch up to each other!!! 🤪

HAPPY 30th BIRTHDAY BELLA!

It is such an honor and joy to have this amazing mare retired here at the farm. I have never met a horse with such presence. She has been an amazing nanny to my two babies, she’s so kind and patient…not to mention TOUGH AS NAILS. I will forever be thankful to have her in my life, thank you Karen for trusting me with her care!

We had a special Birthday Party at the farm today! Princess Patches is the big 20 today!!! She requested a watermelon cake, blew out the candles with her snorts and then devoured it. She shared the leftovers with all of her friends. Happy Birthday sweet Patchy!!! 🎂🩷🦄

Twas the night before Christmas and all through the barn… we had a photo shoot going, making one crazy farm… all the mares pinned their ears and the geldings behaved…when we finally finished, many treats were gave🎄🐎

Last Saturday two other new horses arrived to Moose Creek Farm from Wellington to retire. One horse is Patches, a horse that is close to my heart and I've known since she was 2 Patches has been retired for several years with her owner, but when she needed to retire her other horse (Galaxy) she decided to send them here together for bigger pastures
and freedom to roam. They both settled right in and immediately made friends with the farm princess Whimsy. I am so thankful to have Patches back in my life again🐎💙🩷

Last Thursday we welcomed a new retiree to Moose Creek Farm. This former Grand Prix star Sherkan D'Amaury better known as Sharky is 17 years young and officially the tallest horse on the farm (for now…the babies may pass him up🤪). He's a big, scrumptious, sweet, hunk of a horse who has settled in wonderfully and is the newest member of the Naughty Boy Group. 🐎💙

Roscoe's owners and Emmy’s owner(the farms first official retiree who left us at age 32) came up from Wellington this weekend and brought the warm weather with them!!! Silver's owner drove up and joined us too! They groomed and bathed their horses (Emmy’s owner took care of Emmy’s best friend) and we had a weekend of laughs, yummy food and cocktails!

This past weekend we welcomed a new resident! Whimsy’s family brought her here to retire in green pastures with our lovely moderate weather and to make new lifelong friends. She is so smart, calm, beautiful and super sweet. I have no doubt once she’s settled in and adjusted to her new home she’ll be out playing in the pastures with new friends! Welcome to Moose Creek Farm Queen Whimsy!

King of the Hill
This past weekend we celebrated Sydney’s (AKA Slim Shady and AKA Rico Suave) 8 year Anniversary of his arrival here. He came for a vacation from Wellington’s hustle and bustle and decided he didn’t want to leave. His original herd was “The Littles” but now he has a herd of boys that adore him. I’ve known him since his owners first bought him as a 4year old OTTB and he’s now 27 (he has not slowed down a bit). I just love this tall handsome drink of water and more so his owner and family. Here’s to many more anniversaries Syd❤️😘

I always love it when Kelly and Tucker come to visit the farm to see her horse (and me too!) when traveling to and from the show circuit in Wellington to Greenwich every year! She helped shed the horses of their still clinging winter coats, give bubble baths, work with the babies and the most fun chore- p**p patrol! To thank her I fed her and provided comfy nap spots!😂

The horses Auntie Kate came to visit Moose Creek Farm this past weekend. Her horse Emmy (grey horse pictured) was the first retiree to join my horses back in 2008. She passed away in 2020 at the age of 31
