🐶🐾 PUPPY DAY AT THE CLINIC! 🐾🐶
We had an adorable lineup of puppies come in today for their Wellness exams, and our hearts are officially melted. 😍 From wiggly tails to big, curious eyes, these little ones made our day.
Taking care of these tiny bundles of joy is one of the best parts of our job.! 🩺🐕💙

We love our Volunteers! ❤️

This past Friday, Saturday and Sunday some of our RAC crew joined Helping Paws Across Borders in a 3-day spay/neuter clinic in Mescalero.

Dr. Favis, her vet assistants Rozlyne and Beth as well as Dr. Favis’ husband and 2 sons, Luther, Jacob and Elliot participated in the 3-day free clinic held by the Mescalero Conservation department.

A huge thanks also to the Lincoln County Humane Society for having some of their crew like Chris, Chase, Larissa and others there as well aiding in the flow of the spay/neuter clinic.

In addition, a heartfelt thank you to Helping Paws Across Borders for their exceptional work in managing overpopulation of dogs and cats and doing so with a caring, empathetic heart. Every Animal deserves kindness.

Lastly, thank you to Tyner, the rest of the Mescalero Conservation department and the Mescalero tribe for being so welcoming and accommodating. They all did great work in assuring a functional and safe spay/neuter clinic and we hope to continue to see HPAB back in our communities!

HPAB and their wonderful doctors, techs, and volunteers were able to spay and neuter over 300 pets! Here’s to volunteer work and the great causes behind their actions ❤️🐾

Snow, Snow and more snow ❄️

Road conditions are slick and icy, we’re asking all of Ruidoso to please take caution when getting out to drive.

Low temperatures causing freezing weather calls for taking precautions when it comes to your pet. Please bring them inside and keep them warm. If you are unable to bring them inside please provide a warm enclosed environment away from the elements.

Contact RAC if you need to reschedule or cancel your appointment today.

PLEASE CALL FIRST if you feel that after-hour emergencies will be needed and be safe!

This handsome outfitter is looking for a home. He is neutered, up-to-date on vaccines, wellness exam recently done and is a great dog! Taj loves kids, does well with cats and would thrive in any place he can show off his herding breed like a ranch or enclosed large area. (Taj could adjust to a multi-dog home as long as the housemate asserts dominance and they are slowly introduced.)

Helping Paws Across Borders had such a successful spay/neuter clinic outcome the last time they were here that they will be coming back to Mescalero for a second time!

It will be held January 10th, 11th and 12th in Mescalero. First come, first serve basis and no limit on pets per household.

Holiday break is here!

RAC will be closing today, 12.24.24, at 12pm. We will be CLOSED ALL DAY tomorrow, 12.25.24, to give our RAC employees a chance to celebrate the holidays with their pets, family, friends and loved ones. Emergency services will be available.
