Hey there, good morning from Dakota! This little cutie is thriving in her foster-to-adopt home, and we couldn't be more thrilled. She's got a knack for sitting, laying, and crate-training, and we're working on that potty training thing. But let's be real - she's a superstar no matter what. And tomorrow, she's getting some more booster vaccines because why not? She's a pro at this point!

We have some very sad news to share with you all. Our beloved alumni Bigsy passed away 2 weeks ago with his momma by his side, surrounded by love and comfort. Bigsy had a tough life before he came into our care 8 years ago, he was found lying in the woods with gunshot wounds on his head and leg, left to die. But thanks to his momma who found him and brought him into our rescue, he was able to experience love and care for the first time in his life. We did everything we could to help him recover and heal, and he flourished under our care. He even gained back full use of his leg and mouth, and had the best momma showing him how life should have been and that not all humans are cruel. Unfortunately, Bigsy suffered a stroke a few months ago which triggered some neurological issues from the bullet lodged inside his head, and he took his last breath around 3am with his momma by his side, just like the day she found him. Run free Bigsy, you will be deeply missed 😭💔😭💔

Look who's joined the rescue team late last night 😍

Dakota is almost 4 months old and ready to take on the world. She may be small, but she's got a big personality. Unfortunately, her original owner fell and broke his hip, so he couldn't keep her any longer. That's when our friends at Primate Paradise Inc. stepped in and gave her a warm welcome. They even gave her a flea bath to make sure she's feeling her best. Now, Dakota is ready to start her new life with her forever family. They rushed right out to pick her up late last night! They are fostering and plan to adopt once she is spayed.

We love working with other rescues to save animals in need 😁

Alumni Snoop's been getting familiar with his new neighborhood, and he hit up a NJ beach for the first time! His thin blood decided the ocean was too cold, but he had a beachin' time running wild and free in the sand. He was the talk of the beach, park, and walk, but now he's ready for a snooze.

✨✨Stanley is still up for adoption and has everything anyone would want/need in a loyal loving pup.

✨✨Back in January. His foster Mom went to Atlantic County Animal Shelter looking to pull a dog to foster. They normally foster small breed dogs, however, Stanley caught her eye. He was brought into the shelter in November with multiple other dogs based on an animal cruelty situation, what we all assumed a dog fighting based scenario based on his scars and wounds.

✨✨Since having Stanley in their home, he has shown nothing but gentleness and love 💖. After his two week crate shutdown, they started to see his personality shine through, he is clumsy and makes them laugh so much. He is sweet, confident, and such a good little foster brother to their other dog Frank. He doesn’t steal food from him and has never shown any aggression towards him — if anything he has helped Frank with his anxiety!

🌟🌟 TRANSPORT IS COMPLETE 🌟🌟

This weekend, Snoop, a sweet rescue dog, has successfully completed his transport journey of 1,012 miles through 7 states with the help of 15 dedicated volunteers. He has now arrived at his forever home in Wildwood, NJ, where he will begin his new life. A huge thank you to all the volunteers who gave their time and effort to make this possible, as well as to Snoop's incredible village, who have supported him since he was surrendered to the shelter. Special mention to his foster family who saved his life and provided a loving home for 9 months, and to his forever Mama for giving him a chance at a happy forever home 🏡

Snoop has finally arrived at his new home, and it's love at first sight! He's met his new Mom and is getting comfortable. He's already caught his first island sunset and enjoyed a delicious dinner.

After a refreshing walk, he even did some zoomies! Now, they're snuggling and making the most of this special moment 💙🐾💙🐾

Snoop is making great progress on his journey to Wildwood, NJ. He's currently on Leg 11 of his transport and expected to arrive in Fredericksburg, VA, around 11:30 AM 🐾🐾

It has been rainy, so he has been napping 😴 😌
