My name is Rip I am a 14-month-old pure-breed neutered blue heeler. I'm up to date on vaccinations. I was purchased for the purpose to help work cows. HOWEVER!! I hate cows. I want nothing to do with them. My dad did not like that I would not help with the cows. So, my mom brought me to the shelter to save me. She was crying when she left, I don't know why??
I do like to cuddle, belly rubs & to hang out!! I love being a house dog. I know basic commands, but don't always listen to them. My mom said I suffer from ADD. I love food of all kinds. Especially fresh veggies from the garden. I am super smart. I just need a little more training. I get scared when you yell at me, and I p*e a little bit. Please, help me to find a new home where I have kids to play with and laps to cuddle on and a kitchen where I can beg for treats.

UPDATE!!! He is being pulled by Journey Home Rescue ! Meet Benellie!! He is a 3-year-old neutered mixed breed. It was so sad today when he watched his owners walk away. He was so loved!! Now he has a broken heart. He loved his kids. He did not like cats. He was loyal to his family, but he liked to roam the neighborhood. So, he will need a home with a secure fence and more kids to play with.

A big thank you, too.AC1 Mike Timmons. He got called out for a deceased.Dog. Luckily, the dog had a collar on with identification. He called the owner, but the owner was out of town and the owner asked if he would take the dog over to silver wings. Thank you Mike.

With the last Grant that we received for the shelter we were able to spay 18, and neuter 12. We are sorry that we were not able to help everyone out. Hopefully we will be able to get another grant here before long. Thank you to everyone That spays and neuters.

ADOPTED Rowan! Rowan is a 1 year old male heeler/pointer mix. He weighs 37lbs and he is neutered. He is house broke, great with kids not sure how he is with cats. He is a big love bug. He would make a great addition to any family. Please call the shelter with any question 208-438-2200.

On what would have been their father's birthday, the Looney family chose to celebrate by making a difference in the lives of those in need. Their inspiring donation of $900.00 to the animal shelter is a shining example of their father's love for stray dogs and their own commitment to spreading joy and kindness. We are humbled by their generosity and moved by their heartfelt tribute. They are holding Silver, one of the shelter babies .
