🐣🌷Easter is coming! We can’t wait to celebrate with family, friends and our four legged family members too. Reminder to keep chocolate and other Easter treats away from your pets. Easter Lily flowers can be toxic to cats as well, so keep that in mind. We hope that you have a healthy and happy weekend!

🌷 Spring’s first pollen wave has arrived! Has anyone else been sneezing 🤧 and itching!? We aren’t the only ones noticing the effects of seasonal allergies…. Our pets can experience symptoms such as itchy paws and skin, licking obsessively (which can indicate an itch), scratching, ear infections and skin infections. If you are noticing that your pet is struggling more with any of these issues during allergy season, which starts now and last through the Fall, we have some options that can help!

Ask us at your next appointment about Cytopoint or Apoquel which can help reduce the itch. We also have some topical options and medicated shampoos for pets that struggle with skin infections. We recommend increasing the number of baths 🛁 you give your pet and particularly washing their feet off after being outside if they struggle with itchy feet.

You are not alone in the battle against the itch! Let us help you and your pet navigate allergy season more comfortably.

❄️ Looks like we might be getting some SNOW tonight or in the morning… and as we know NC weather can be unpredictable. If you have an appointment in the morning with us, please call our office at 336-969-2345 before heading our way to make sure that our employees were able to get to the office safely to open.
