Walking dogs can be a therapy. Come learn the art of leash skills so you can enjoy your walks too! 🐾

We offer private and semi-private lessons for those more reactive dogs that need to learn how to be okay with their surroundings first.

We offer group pack walk classes to work on distraction training, skill building and proper socializing once you have foundational leash skills underway.

We had the opportunity to cover dog safety at Teach2Learn Homeschool Co-Op. The kids learned the word S.A.L.T and got to practice on various dogs throughout the day. We met and talked with over 100 kids from pre-K to high school.

S = Stop and Wait at a distance
A = Ask if you can pet the dog
L = Listen to the person’s response
T = Think about the way to touch

🐾 Canine Good Citizen / Confidence with Novice Tricks Class brings in just the right amount of fun mixed with beautiful obedience too!

Using the LIMA method in Teaching Relaxation

Utilizing the Treat&Train to teach Boaz relaxation in a centralized crate location of the house. There’s commotion, boarding dogs in his yard, cats and kids playing, and a snack being poured at times. I am utilizing his “chin down”command to go into position because I wanted to reinforce that particular position. While I absolutely believe that there are moments where dogs may need to be corrected to control situations, and have clear boundaries with safety, I LOVE when the LIMA way of training succeeds!
