Reactive dog❓💥
I know so many people really do struggle with reactive dogs.
This looks a bit complicated.....but there is also a video attached in the comments that helps go through this step by step.
If you feel like you are banging your head against a brick wall and NOTHING is helping....try this and add both steps talked about in the video.
You really CAN make a huge difference.

Walking dogs can be a therapy. Come learn the art of leash skills so you can enjoy your walks too! 🐾

We offer private and semi-private lessons for those more reactive dogs that need to learn how to be okay with their surroundings first.

We offer group pack walk classes to work on distraction training, skill building and proper socializing once you have foundational leash skills underway.

Using the LIMA method in Teaching Relaxation

Utilizing the Treat&Train to teach Boaz relaxation in a centralized crate location of the house. There’s commotion, boarding dogs in his yard, cats and kids playing, and a snack being poured at times. I am utilizing his “chin down”command to go into position because I wanted to reinforce that particular position. While I absolutely believe that there are moments where dogs may need to be corrected to control situations, and have clear boundaries with safety, I LOVE when the LIMA way of training succeeds!
