Please remember our Minnesota Statues for Animal welfare. If you see something- say something. Be their voice! These laws apply to all breeds of dogs.

343.40 DOG HOUSES
Subd. 2.Building specifications. The shelter shall include a moistureproof and windproof structure of suitable size to accommodate the dog and allow retention of body heat. It shall be made of durable material with a solid, moistureproof floor or a floor raised at least two inches from the ground. Between November 1 and March 31 the structure must have a windbreak at the entrance. The structure shall be provided with a sufficient quantity of suitable bedding material consisting of hay, straw, cedar shavings, blankets, or the equivalent, to provide insulation and protection against cold and dampness and promote retention of body heat.

346.39 DOGS AND CATS
Subd. 2.Water. Dogs and cats must be provided with clean, potable water in sufficient quantity to satisfy the animal's needs or supplied by free choice. Snow or ice is not an adequate water source.

We saw this online and wanted to share. Let them be in the shade & on grass. Use the back of your hand on the sidewalk, tar, etc to check temperature. If it hurts you, it'll hurt them.

Have fun with your pets but they can't tell you if something's wrong, do them a favor & think ahead 🐕🐈

Well as many of you know, I slipped on the ice and broke my ankle the night before I left for vacation. I got the ok from the dr to still go and enjoy the sunshine in Mexico! I seen an orthopedic doctor today and he said my foot is healing great and I will be back to work soon. Just need to take it slow and make sure I don’t over stress my ankle! So I will back to work hopefully in the next week or so! Might not be able to do full days for awhile but I am missing my furry clients and want to get back to work ASAP! 🐶
