The Russell County Animal Response Team (CART) is a network of animal and animal-agricultural resoureces. The team is available for planning, prevention, protection, mobilization, response and recovery related to emergency incidents within the county. The CART is a branch of the Kansas State Animal Response Team (KS SART) which is a program that works to develop and support animal response teams across Kansas.
