Hi, my name is Duke.
I hate to impose in this holiday season, but this holiday may be my last. You see, I am in a “kill pen”, waiting on my last ride. On Christmas Day, I am headed off to slaughter. All my options have run out. Again, I hate to impose; but you want a Merry Christmas, all I want is another Christmas. If I am not safe by Sunday, this will be my last.
I have a chance to live; Serenity Saviors in Alabama has a place for me. All I need is for my “bail” to be paid and my transport to be covered and I’m there. I’ll be off the slaughter truck and on my way to my second chance at life. Please… you can do it. I now need $1,800 to live. They have raised $405; that’s awesome, but we need to raise a lot more to keep me alive. Will you help? Can you spare $100, $200 or even $1,000 to save my life this Christmas? My life depends on you. I hope you can. I hope to see you in the new year. Your contribution depends on it.
