Raine is still looking for a "chill" family.
All updated on vaccines and spayed, Raine is a very lovable and calm 8-9 yr old hound looking for a family (kids okay) to hang with at home. Raine loves a cushy chair, pupperoni treats, and an occasional spurt of energy. She is super nice with other dogs - big and small. Cats don't seem to bother her at all. Wren (update):
You met her before when we first encountered Wren as a skinny, very tired, stray hound. Flash forward three months - Wren is more on the young side. She lives and loves to run once that nose of hers hits the ground. There doesn't appear to be an obstacle she can't get by. Once she is done with her adventure, Wren is happy to be home to play with toys, play "catch me", and then finally rest. Wren is looking for a home that will give her plenty of love, space to run freely, and play.

Courtesy Post!!! Foster mom wrote the following…London and Furgison are still up for adoption through CVRR! They've been with us since July when they were given up. They're living in the basement with our three unsocial tuxedo cats. All the cats get along SO well! It's precious. London and Furgison would definitely want cat friends in their new home. They're very cat friendly and also very sweet with us. They're just happy and easy Kitts! Anyone would be lucky to have them! If interested apply at cvrrescue.org.

All of us at Harmony are deeply sadden by the passing of Dr. Steph Chmiel this week. She was a very caring veterinarian and a special friend to all of us. Steph's kindness was unparallel to humans and all kinds of animals (including the bugs). No matter what she was going through, she always made time to lend a hand, share knowledge, or just listen. Steph made this world a better place; we are forever grateful for the time we we shared. We know you are at peace and surrounded with favorite people and tons of critters.

Great news! Shadow and Rocket have a home!
We have been watching over Shadow for some time. During his stay with us, he befriended Rocket. This was a great match especially for feeding as Shadow loved to eat everything but Rocket was a wet food kind of guy. When Shadow's mom came back, she spent time getting to know Rocket and was super happy to adopt him too. We are happy that everyone's journey has brought them together. We look forward to the updates.

Reacquaint with Raine:
Raine was originally with AC and FOAC-CC before coming to hang at Harmony. After a couple of weeks here and getting spayed, this sweet girl needs a loving home and to be someone's companion.

Raine is respectful inside, house trained.
She loves for you to sit by her side and just be...
Raine loves to snuggle in a big bed.
Sometimes she is slow to get up and move around.
Other times she is running like a happy hound.
She gets along with our other senior dogs and young hound.
We believe she is closer to 10 yrs old.

MEET Wren
No one has come to claim this cute slim hound and now she is up for adoption. We have given her all the basic medical including being spayed. Wren is a hound who loves to feel the breeze as she runs. We think she was definitely someone's hunting dog who escaped and is looking for the perfect home. Wren is probably around 2-4 yrs old. Outside, she is spirited and would love to hunt; and inside, she is respectful and house trained. She loves other dogs especially hounds.

With a heavy heart we say goodbye to Britta...
It was the sad hound look and long ears that first grabbed my attention at the pound. We do not know her story except maybe another hound who did like to hunt and found their way to us to live her life out...on the couch. Britta was just a laid back kind of hound, gentle, sometimes stubborn, but always very welcoming to new residents. Thank you for being apart of our lives...Enjoy your rest and catching up with all past dogs.

Most people will ask "what happened?" - In the past couple of years, Britta has health issues from trouble eating, bleeding tumor, sensitivity to weather extremes, and then she just collapsed yesterday. It looked like vestibular disease. She could not hold herself up and was having trouble breathing. Weighing all this, her age (at least 15), and quality of life....it was time.
