Meet Enoch, a client at the Petstar Animal Care of Prairieville location. Any guesses on how big he has gotten? In his adorable picture he’s just a tiny 9 weeks old. He’s now 6 months ⭐️

Enoch is much bigger today than he was in this picture. He has been visiting his Petstar family since he was 9 weeks old. He a sweet, goofy boy. Enoch is a Rottweiler. This is a strong and loyal breed. They need proper socialization and training starting at an early age. They are good watchdogs but they do need a job or a daily activity. His starting weight was 18lbs. Any guesses on his adult weight when he reaches it? 😍

As we get towards the end of dental month, here is a comparison between cat/dog teeth and human teeth.

We grade our patient's teeth between Grade 1 - Grade 4.

We use an ultrasonic scaler all tarter and plaque, then polish them until' they look like new! Our doctors also probe the gums to check for any pockets, and we perform dental radiographs to check beneath the gum line.

Patches was adopted by one of our employees around June 2021. She weighed almost 7️⃣0️⃣ pounds which for her breed/build was not good for her health! 👎
