🐾 The Importance of Spaying and Neutering Pets 🐾

Spaying and neutering pets is one of the most effective ways to combat pet overpopulation and improve the lives of animals in Louisiana.

Congratulations, Beau! You passed your final test today. He went to Waffle House and stayed cool and calm during the entire meal! Thanks to Curley's Top Dog trainer, Samantha. Beau will be going to live with a female veteran next week. She's going to love having him as her loyal companion. He is the first of many 4 Paws Rescue dogs who will be training in the Pups for Patriots program. We are honored to be a part of this awesome group. Happy Tails dear Beau!🎉

🤎🖤🩶Rock wants to CELEBRATE!!!!!🖤🤎🩶

This happy boy has a reason to smile……he is heading to Baton Rouge for Thanksgiving with his Foster To Adopt Mom!!! Rock is 4.5 years old and has spent 3 YEARS & 11 MONTHS at 4 Paws!!! He has been adopted a few times but brought back because of shyness, wouldn’t eat, wouldn’t drink, weight loss, etc.

A consistent volunteer grew to love him and said she would adopt him as soon as she could. Rock knows her & has spent a lot of time with her at her house.

🐕🐈‍⬛🐈Do you remember the post about the sweet kitten found in the Enterprise parking lot in Ruston dragging its leg two months ago?? Her name is now Macey aka Enterprise ❤️. Unfortunately she is growing up but not healing.🐕🐈🐈‍⬛

We don’t normally take in cats but no one else would take in this innocent, injured animal. A wonderful person volunteered to foster her and nurse her back to health. Unfortunately the kittens leg has not healed, has become infected, and unfortunately now needs to be amputated.

Please consider donating to the $600 bill it will take for Macey aka Enterprise. The surgery will be done at
Jonesboro Animal Clinic.

It’s raining 💩💩💩💩💩!!!! Puppies everywhere!!🐶🐶

Pups on left are Blessings puppies who were taken in from the abuse situation. Mama dog, Blessing, & her puppies were being kicked and burned with 🚬. They are now loved & thriving at 4 Paws!! Blessing & all puppies are ready to meet & can be pre-adopted. They can’t go home until a few more weeks though.

These are Pradas puppies. Prada & her puppies were pulled from Friends of Ouachita Parish Animal Shelter - OPAS and will all be heading north in a few weeks. We love when dogs are chosen for transport north, because they are much more likely to find a loving home 🏡

🩷🩵Happy Tails to Scarla (tan) & Lionel (black/white) who both found loving homes. These two are now fur cousins!!🩵🩷

Scarla was 1 of 4 sick puppies brought to 4 Paws in a plastic tub by someone at the end of day on a Saturday. We had no choice but to take them in & get them to the ER. 1 puppy did not make it, but luckily the remaining 3 did. Scarla was fostered by a wonderful Volunteer and later adopted by her!

Lionel was 1 of 3 puppies that were found at a dumpster in Lincoln Parish. These 3 were young, incredibly shy, and fearful. Lionel was scooped up by a Volunteer’s daughter & now living his best life!

All of these stray, homeless animals can be prevented if we SPAY/NEUTER!!!
