4 Paws is dedicated to the well being of stray and neglected animals in Lincoln Parish Louisiana. Dog adoption includes: UTD on shots, spay/neuter and first rabies certificate (if dog isn't already fixed), We ALWAYS make sure our animals go to the best homes possible. We are always accepting donations to help further our future as a shelter and to help improve the lives of all the animals we take in. Volunteers are always needed and we greatly appreciate the help.

Murphy just got a wonderful furever home. This couple fell in love with this big fur ball. He's so calm and easy going. He'll be spoiled just like their other pets who lived to be 17 years old. We love it when our babies get great homes. Happy Tails sweet boy!

Harold (aka Harry) 💙 hung out with Hunky Hank 💙today while his foster mom went to a concert! Both boys are looking for their Furever Homes!

🧢 Harold is brown/white/black & is 7 months old. He has been at 4 Paws for 23 weeks now. Harry was found at a dumpster with his sister, Hazel, who was adopted by a wonderful volunteer. Harold has been neutered & is UTD on vacs. Unfortunately it was recently discovered that he does have hip & elbow dysplasia 🙁 & has been started on a joint supplement. Harry is the perfect mix of playful & chill, & he gets along with everyone he meets!!

🥏Hank is our older guy at around 7 years old. This boy does not act it though! He loves to explore the back yard at his foster home & go on car rides. He also walks well on a leash! Hank gets the zoomies sometimes & its the cutest thing ever! Hank came to us after his parents got divorced, & we are glad he did bc he spent most of his time in a cement kennel. Hank is learning quickly how the good life works!!

❤️🐾 If you are looking for a new friend, please consider one of these pups who has been at the shelter for over a month, some longer (pics posted by a volunteer, some may no longer be at the shelter). A month may not seem like a long time but at an overcrowded shelter it can seem like a lifetime for a dog/cat in need! The Ouachita Parish Animal Shelter is closed on Wednesdays but stop by on Thursday from 10-2!

RESCUES AND ADOPTERS…THE SHELTER DOGS NEED YOU! Many of the dogs posted this week (around 50) are the ones seized from the house with horrid conditions. The shelter is over capacity. If you have been thinking of adopting, there are SO many dogs to choose from so please take a look. The shelter works with rescues so if you see dogs you may be able to help with, please reach out! 🙏🏻 Thank you!
