My friend Gretchen and I have some exciting news - we are pleased to announce that I am returning to veterinary practice! I will be joining my long-time friend and colleague, Dr. Jack Hammett at the Animal Clinic of Caroline, on Monday May 16, 2022. I took a little longer break than initially planned, but I miss veterinary medicine and I am very eager to get back into practice! Dr. Hammett and I worked together many years ago and we have remained close friends since. We both have many years of experience in all areas of medical and surgical care for your pets, and there is not a veterinarian who I respect more than him. To quote the infamous Blues Brothers... "We're getting the band back together.... We're on a mission from God." I am also happy to be joining one of the few privately owned (ie. non-corporate) veterinary practices that remain in our area. I look forward to joining Dr. Hammett at the Animal Clinic of Caroline and welcoming new and old clients! The Animal Clinic of Caroline is located just south of Ladysmith on US Route 1 and is 20 minutes south of the Massaponax exit on I-95:

We have plans to expand the practice and make some upgrades over the next year or two in order to have more room to care for your pets. It is an exciting transition for both of us and exciting for me to be a part of Animal Clinic of Caroline's continued growth into our community.
