Happy Halloween from the Animal Clinic of Caroline!!!

The Veterinarian's Halloween (to the tune of Monster Mash)

I was working at the hospital late one day,
When Dracula came in with his pet Sharpei.
"I need a transfusion", he cried with dread,
"But not for my dog, he's already dead!"
We sent away the Creature from the Black Lagoon,
He came in for his appointment a week too soon,
A werewolf was given his rabies vaccine,
On a typical day, for Halloween.

It's Halloween, when all the creatures are seen,
It's Halloween, and quite the hospital scene,
It's Halloween, all the monsters look sweet
It's Halloween, we do a trick and treat.

The surgeons were having fun,
The cutting had just begun.
The orthopedist sutured,
King Kong's severed thumb.
Godzilla got a pill for his very sore throat,
The Wolfman was treated for a case of bloat,
The Mummy's dog, was given a wrap,
With a hole in the back so he could crap.

It's Halloween, when the creatures are seen,
It's Halloween, and quite the hospital scene,
It's Halloween, all the monsters look sweet,
It's Halloween, we do a trick and treat

Frankenstein's cat was Transylvanian stock,
It's fur burned off by an electric shock.
Igor's rat ate too much cheese
But his real concern was a case of fleas.
A bat came in 'cause he was feelin weak,
With an IV drip he was back to peak.
A zombie thought his parrot looked undead,
'Till he raised his head, looked around and said,

It's Halloween, when all the creatures are seen,
It's Halloween, and quite the hospital scene,
It's Halloween, all the monsters look sweet,
It's Halloween, we do a trick and treat

Onyx was in getting his booster vaccines. He and Dr. Hart were also having a sweet visit! We love our veterinarians!

This is sweet, little “Wednesday “. She came to us from another Fredericksburg area hospital who had diagnosed a liver tumor and had referred her to a specialty Surgical center as few veterinarians outside of referral centers will attempt liver lobe resection or any liver surgery. The referral center had quoted them $10,000 to attempt the procedure. This was not economically possible for the family and they asked if we could help. The surgery team of Dr. Jack Hammett and Dr. Jared Hammett successfully performed a lobectomy and removed the 1 pound tumor from little Wednesday who weighed 6 1/2 pounds post op!!!
She is 3 weeks post surgery and a happy little girl!!

Meet Roscoe!
Unbeknownst to his owners, he had a 10 pound tumor in his spleen that was adhered to multiple abdominal structures!
Dr. Jack Hammett and Dr. Jared Hammett successfully removed his tumor!
He is a very good boy!
