Rutland Veterinary Clinic is a full service veterinary clinic that has been serving the beautiful town of Rutland and surrounding communities since 1995. We are located near the center of town at 203 Main Street in one of the lovely old homes of Rutland. On Saturday the RVC Staff said goodbye (and a huge THANK YOU) to two of our long-time team members Katie & Kathy as they head into retirement. Their dedication, compassion, and love for our patients and clients have made a lasting impact.

Meet Nanuk & Aries! ❄️🐾
Nanuk, a 6-year-old Husky, who joined his family during a snowstorm and has been the ultimate adventure buddy ever since. Aries, a 4-year-old German Shepherd, came home during COVID at just 3 months old—and she hasn’t left anyone’s side since!

— Sadie’s journey began on the streets of Thailand, but her life changed for the better thanks to a dedicated rescue program. Now, she’s living her best life with Kathy, a longterm team member at Rutland Vet. Sadie quickly embraced the comforts of home and the joys of being part of a loving family. We know vet visits can be overwhelming — and Mable felt just that at her last appointment. 💛 When our vet recommended a little extra help to ease her anxiety, her mom was fully on board. With some chill meds and a calm environment, Mable enjoyed an anxiety-free visit and even made herself right at home on our couch! 🐾

Kicking off Pet Appreciation Week with one of our favorites — Meet Buffy! 🐾💛 a 4-year-old Shih Tzu mix with a big personality and a love for the simple things in life: treats, belly rubs, and sunbathing by the window. 🌞🐾
Whether it’s park strolls or summer kayaking adventures, Buffy is always up for tagging along with her favorite human. When she’s not racing around with the zoomies or playing with her (many!) toys, you’ll find her snuggled up on the couch with her mom, Jess — one of our amazing full-time team members here at the clinic. 💛

Say hello to Frankie! 🐶 Frankie visited us for a dental cleaning. Swipe to see her 🦷 prior to any extractions and her dental x-rays, which revealed a retained root and other pathology. Frankie got those teeth taken care of! Regular dental check-ups, cleanings under anesthesia, and dental radiographs are crucial for detecting diseases below the gumline.
