Kicking K will start accepting horses in for training again!

We’ve had some changes this year and now that all that is settling down we are back to taking in client horses.

- Starting colts
- Putting ground work on yearlings and up
- Fixing problems
- Tune up
- Refresher courses

We use natural horseman ship methods, all of my personal horses are trained with the same method. No matter what the horse is brought to us for, they get a minimal of 10 days of ground work!

We base our pricing off the ACTUAL days we work or ride the horse, so it would be 30 rides/ Sessions instead of 30 days! We want to make sure you get your money's worth! Video updates as well as weekly visits allowed that are scheduled, to insure I’m home and have time to spend with you and your horse while you visit! We also offer lessons for you to work with your horse before they leave so you can learn what you need to do and how to do it to keep them going forward.

Horses will he worked 5-6 days a week weather permitting. I have an arena to ride in & pastures on our place and places surrounding us to ride in as well. Horses will be worked/rode for 45 min to an hour & a half 5-6 days a week, but a few days a week will be rode longer when we take them on a trail around the house etc. We work in and out of the arena so the horse is exposed to all things, and doesn't become arena sour etc !

Horses will be stalled during bad weather and they will have their own pasture as well.

Hey y’all sorry it’s been a while ! We had some big changes this year and haven’t really be able to offer lessons !

BUT

We are back in full swing now !

Fall is HERE, summer travels are slowing down and kids are starting school again.
So with weather getting nicer I wanna remind everyone & let everyone know I have a few spots for lessons!

This is a great way for your child to learn self confidence, learn a new aspect of life, learn respect and responsibilities as well as accountability!

We have a lot of fun and make tons of memories all while your child can learn about horses and how to safely be around them and enjoy them !

We have basic lessons, we will offer lessons on ground work as well ( for those who want to learn to work with horses more on a eye to eye level )!

Your child will learn to safely be around horses, how to properly bath/groom them, how to properly tack up, cool their horse off after the lesson, how to properly handle their feet and how to clean their feet, as well as feeding/watering etc.
Your child will get to get a glimpse of it all.
I try to make sure to incorporate all aspects of horses not just riding. I think for children/teens and adults to really understand and appreciate horses you must learn it all.

I’ve helped MANY young children grow their love and passion for horses, and quite a few of them are of age now and horse owners themselves!

Horses are good for the soul and I would love to help your children experience this wonderful aspect of life that not everyone gets to experience!

We do offer 1 on 1, and groups of 2 or 3!

We have standard lesson to lesson rates, as well as package rates!

We can also offer for you to bring your horse here and we can work with you and your own horse in a calm and safe environment!

So proud of this boy !

He is blowing me out of the water with how “ broke “ I swear he already is !

Put a snaffle on him, took the lounge line off and just started moving his feet !

He crow hopped once ( honestly think the wind moved the tree at the right time and it caught him off guard ). The wind was crazy today but you would never know watching him work!

He is turning fantastic in the hack, he is listening to voice cues AMAZING, woah and easy ( my vocal word for slow down but not stop - like go from lope to trot etc )

He walked out easy, doesn’t need much from me on the ground to get into a trot, he still needs some motivation to get into a lope from me on the ground but other than that he acts like this is ride 10 !

Ground work pays off people 👏👏!!

This is the second time he has had some one off his back, and this is the first time he wasn’t on the lounge line ! I put him in a hack and off they went !
