Walter ✨ the Newfie-Poo

This guy doesn’t always get a haircut when he visits; he comes for maintenance! He has LOTS of long, thick & wavy hair. He comes on a very regular basis for deep conditioning and brushing on his coat, with a little tidy up on his face, paws & sanitary area.

With the result of that, I’ve got to say his coat is looking fabulous.

With daily brushing, and regular visits to the groomer, anything is PAW-sible! 🐾😉

Hi everyone! I have a lot of new followers and fur-friends, so I figured I’d share a little bit about myself and the business!

My name is Sydney, I’m the owner of Mutt Cuts LLC.
I am a 23 year old Dog-Mom to a Golden Retriever named Max, and he’s my biggest helper around here! 😉

Before I decided to start my journey as a Dog Groomer I spent years in the Veterinary Medicine world. When I was about 13 years old, I began volunteering at a animal hospital well into my young adult years. I’ve always had a huge passion for helping animals! I’d spend every day of my summertime outside of school hanging around, learning new things, and just helping out when I could while growing up. I grew to love being in an environment of helping animals so much, that when I graduated high school in 2019 I took it upon myself to become a Veterinary Technician. I absolutely loved being the voice for the voiceless. Although, as time went on I realized the sad and difficult moments throughout working as a Veterinary Technician, quickly began weighing me down. It was no longer for me.

So, that’s how we got here! I knew that no matter what, I was meant to work with animals.. which lead me to make the decision 3 years ago to spread my wings and learn how to groom dogs. I have got to say, joining the Dog Grooming community has been the best decision I’ve ever made. After learning everything I needed, I hit the ground running in January of 2023 and opened my own shop. The best part is, I now get to host a safe and comfortable environment where dogs of all breeds and sizes can come to get pampered, and go home happy! I also have the opportunity to show dogs who are a little more fearful, that grooming is NOT meant to be scary, and to me that is so rewarding. To experience the joy of working with animals daily is something I am so greatful for! 🐕🐾

My goal with my business and the service I provide is to make a REAL difference to the welfare of all pets, for the better.

Hanzee is the most spunky puppy I have ever met! He is so full of life, barks, kisses, and hugs! Today, he came in for a good clean up and he was so brave taking on his 2nd bath at the groomers. I just adore him! 🥰

Shedding season is in full swing around here!

Hey yall, PLEASE READ One of our very own, Arlo, needs our help. He is a huge part of the Mutt Cuts community and is such a light to us when he walks in the door. He is the sweetest little guy, so full of spunk and life. Unfortunately, he was diagnosed with Mega Esophagus.. this means he no longer can eat nor drink like a normal dog in order to get food into his tummy. With that being said, there is so much ahead of him that consists of vet visits, testing, medications, and the equipment he will need in order to eat and drink without risk of aspiration. I’m asking so sincerely from the bottom of my heart that we can help save his life as a community. Anything is appreciated, even if it’s just a click to share this post.
