Taping for Broodmares

This mare is heavy in foal and very underweight in my eyes. When she arrived she clearly needed some TLC, as Iāve had her for the last month sheās put on weight but the majority of her gain has gone to growing the foal in utero. I decided to tape her as sheās getting closer to foaling I want to help support the weight of her fast growing belly as much as possible, with this application weāre supporting the longissimus dorsi muscle which supports the majority of the weight in her case. I typically get kicked at when trying to brush this mare off along her back due to soreness from lack of muscle development and having to support the weight of her belly, youāll see she takes a shot at me during the application, but in the end gives me some big releases showing weāre relieving quite a bit of discomfort in such a short amount of time.
