Dr. Smothers brings nine years of veterinary experience with special interests in soft-tissue surgery, dentistry, and preventive medicine. She is passionate about providing compassionate, individualized care and helping pets live healthier, more comfortable lives through thoughtful client education and evidence-based medicine.

A graduate of Kansas State University College of Veterinary Medicine (with honors) and Texas A&M University, where she earned a double major in Biomedical Sciences and Entomology, Dr. Smothers has served as both an associate veterinarian and medical director, mentoring young doctors and ensuring quality care for patients and their families.

When she’s not caring for her patients, Dr. Smothers enjoys reading, traveling, attending sporting events, singing worship with Community Life Church, and spending time with her family and pets at home in Sunnyvale, Texas.
